I love that this cable is angled, as the original Bose cable - it doesn't stick out and prevents wear. Definitely buy again if needed, as I still use corded, around the ear headphones.

Bought it in 2022 and it had connection issues after 2 years. Wire looks sturdy but the connectors can get damaged over time. Might be best to buy OEM.

Bought a cheaper one months earlier; junk.This one is good quality, good sound, well made, seems durable. Looks like it will last a long time.

The cable has slightly better volume. Thats the only good thing about this product. It promises a mic and a way to adjust volume and pause videos. It grants none of those. When i first opened the product, it felt its price. When i connected it i couldnt hear a thing, i had to figure out that the cable only works in a certain angle. That is an inconvenience for cables that are old, so why am i having that problem with a brand new cable. The mic didnt work but you know when i does work, when the high volume of your headphones echoes from it (but not your loud voice). I bought this cable to game and i can only have the cable at a certain angle and at a certain volume... Also, why have a volume adjuster if its not going to work, the mic doesnt work might as well not have them both.

whats funny is that on the package it says that 10,000 bend lifespani am kinda of disapointed cause this types of cables ar not common on my country and i was looking for a mesh cable for durability... and it came broke i am afraid to buy another one cause maybe is a bad batch so i guess i will keep looking or maybe wait a year to buy it a again so i dont get a broke sample again.in a side note volume control does not work on pc on my bose QC35 but on my phone its just fine .and trust me on this one aint a pc problem hahah.also that angle on the 3.55mm side is so unnecessary i whould prefer it on the 2.55mm side of the cable ( but this aint a deal breaker by it self)

I used this with a Bose AE2 headset to make calls. Previously is was just a wired headset for music. It takes the 2.5mm plug at the headphone and the 3.5mm works with the phone. I tested a number of different headsets and was told that the mic quality of this set was one of the best, even comparing a set that cost $180 and a set that costs $400. I find almost every call headset that I use to be uncomfortable. This is a great way, for $9 to make any comfortable headset that you like into a quality call capable headset.
