I saw an online review of this model and wanted one. It seemed compact and versatile so I bought it. It arrived quickly like everything Amazon sells. Although I think I own at least 5 computers, a couple I-phones and an I-Pad, I'm not a total tech...more of a "least common denominator" user, keeping things as basic and my needs allow! This had everything I thought I and my wife would need. Then I had use for it, for anon-emergency tele-med appointment. I unboxed the webcam and mounted it on top of the remote screen I used with a laptop. I read the first part of the instructions. My laptop was already on so I plugged it in to an open USB port. Nothing happened. The webcam has one button with a symbol of a light bulb on it, so I pushed it...nothing happened. My computer had been on this whole time and I didn't hear any "ding" or anything to suggest the Win-10 had seen it. Odd. So I opened the instruction book again and a few pages in it showed an image of this1080P-AF webcam, but that picture showed MY DEVICE having 2 buttons on it, not one. Yes, the lightbulb image, but to the right of that one showed another button for changing the different lighting modes. Mine had no second button and no matter how many times I pushed my only button, nothing happened. So the time for my Tele-med appointment arrived and I wasn't sure what do to. But the doctor instigated something in email and I clicked it...the screen lit up with the doctor's face and the camera turned on by itself. Hmmm. What the heck? After the meeting I started online again and watched a video of this webcam. It wasn't much help so I opened Amazon HELP and explained my problem. They linked me to a different video of the same webcam. That video said this webcam needs the Win-10 camera app to be up for it to function. As soon as I opened it, it started working and the one button served to change the camera's 3 lighting modes and off. Not sure if the camera app will now automatically stay on or not. But realize that the instruction book you'll get with this shows 2 buttons. Not sure if my "one button" version is an upgrade, or if I got the old version but maybe it doesn't matter. Amazon Help really did help and the guy helping me said he would refund me 50% for my trouble. I accepted but then their CHAT failed he dropped off and I got routed to some other Amazon "flunky" (sorry) who didn't see any of the previous 15 minutes of chat but asked me if I was all happy. I said no, that their HELP app failed and this new person didn't see any of the previous chat. Knowing there was nothing to do but lose my mind, I gave her a brief synopsis of where the previous chat was and I actually was able to COPY and PASTE the last guy's offer for the 50% refund for the trouble of the bad information pamphlet and my wasted time. The new chat girl typed that I could return it for a refund. I gave up and dropped the chat. So, this webcam works good and has all the features my wife and I would need for her work and my "whatever". Just remember if you're not a total tech, SOME kind of APP has to be open for this thing to be alive. The movie about it said WIN 10 Camera App. But the doctor's link to me turned the camera on and the one button cycled the different light modes just fine, both with the doctor's app and today I did so with the WIN-10 app too. Good luck, and even more luck if you try to use Amazon Help Chat thing.

This was a surprise in that it worked so well and was easy to set up.First things first. I took time to read the manual, which was written in clear English not the usual gibberish. It was easy to follow how to set up and use the various features.Set up was true Plug n Play. Windows 10 recognized the camera and installed the necessary drivers. Took less than a minute, a quick test showed everything worked fine.The camera has a bright built-in ring light that es easily shifted for setting the correct color temperature. The images are crisp and the colors are as they should be. The built-in mic sounded just like me, so no complaints there. It was sensitive enough so I could speak in a normal voice.There are a host of options for mounting, including a tripod, which is included in the box.Another feature, which I personally have not seen before, is a small switch on the top of the camera which sets a privacy mode, thee is no image sent.Overall, this is a great webcam and well worth the cost, in addition to a really nice image, it has all the features I could want.

I wanted to buy a decent budget camera but the quality is just not there, the frame drops sometimes, and the resolution isn't great. If you want a cheap camera, you can go lower, if you want a better camera, you need to go higher. This is somewhere in between where is not one thing nor the other.

I just like using it to talk to my friends on discord. It’s great for that but I wouldn’t use it for content creation I don’t think it would hold up.

I love this camera! I use it for teaching in Zoom on MacBook and it works perfectly. The quality is great, much better than my built-in camera. It works great both at daytime and nighttime. Camera has three different image temperature settings which is useful. Also, the setup process is very easy, you just plug-in the camera in laptop and video call right away. I used the cheap adapter for USB-C because the camera has regular USB port. Overall, good product, highly recommend!

there is a line across the top of the frame and it rarely focuses on you properly but definitely gets the job done well

Great price, the image and sound quality is decent, this is ideal for your meetings and online video chats (don't bother for streaming, you'll need something better).

Da ich auch im Home Office immer mehrere Monitore verwende steckt mein Notebook in der Docking Station. Somit kann ich die interne Kamera nicht nutzen.Ich habe diese Kamera nun seit ca. einem Monat im Einsatz und bin sehr zufrieden. Bei allen Videokonferenzen hat sie problemlos funktioniert und die Bildqualität war auch ansprechend. Besonders gelungen finde ich die mechanische Abdeckung der Kameralinse. Damit bleibt die Privatsphäre garantiert.Für den privaten Einsatz im Home Office, um an Videokonferenzen teil zu nehmen, kann ich die Kamera uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

so i buy it for my small brother ,he is using his desktop so he need it badly ...in this corona situation need to connect with camera ..video call zoom ...he find it really cool...its very clear to see...people who see from otherside also said look really hd ...autofocusing is very nice working ...and there is stand so you can use it ,in any place of your table ...three mood of light its really helpfull when you switched it for turn on ..you can see the difference..Thank you

Benutze die Kamera nun schon eine Weile zum Streamen, und sie hält da mit Kameras mit was Bildqualität angeht, welche in einer ganz anderen Preisklasse spielen. Zudem ist sie auch sehr kompakt und praktisch für Zoom Calls :)

It was working great for the first few days. But today , Suddenly it has started creating Issue with my laptop port - it shows an error on restarting my laptop since morning, due to the driver. I would recommend you to buy a good brand rather than this.I did a mistake buying a cheap quality camera.Need to pay a huge amount due to windows installation again.
