Plantar Fasciitis (Heel Pain, Foot Pain) is a common, painful foot condition. Plantar Fasciitis occurs because of irritation to the thick ligamentous connective tissue that runs from the heel bone to the ball of the foot. Symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis may be worse early in the morning after sleep. At that time, the arch tissue is tight and simple movements stretch the contracted tissue. As you begin to loosen the foot, the pain usually subsides, but often returns with prolonged standing or walking. Night splints are worn to keep the heel stretched out while you sleep. This prevents the arch of the foot from contracting at night which helps reduce the morning pain. Sizing: Small/Medium Fits Women 6-10/ Men 5-9 Large/Extra Large Fits Women 10-15/ Men 9-13

Great!
Since I actually purchased this item as a gift for my wife, I cannot give you an extremely accurate account of what this item can or can't do. Just keep that in mind. Well, she has been suffering from PF for years and not only has an orthotic she has to wear in her shoes, but wears a night splint. It flared up pretty bad within the last few months and her old splint is wearing out, so I bought her this one. This noticably helped her feel better when she took it off in the morning and walked around. As those who suffer from PF know, this is when it is the worst. Her last night splint covers the back of her foot/calf and this covers the front. It may not work for everyone, but she really likes it compared to her old one.

relief right away
does the job. I could barely walk most mornings until I bought this. The next day I felt like I could run a marathon. The only draw back is that it can get lose over night.

Did not fit me.
The device would not stay aligned at night. It kept slipping around to the side of my foot. Maybe I didn't adjust it right or maybe my anatomy didn't suit it.

Night Splint Works
The best thing that I can say is that it works, and is also relatively comfortable to sleep with. I think it helped cure my Plantar Fasciitis.

It almost does the trick
It almost does the trick, but, the foothold is too tight for any kind wide foot. Also, it needs to be taller up the leg for leverage.
