An innovative product but can definitely use more improvements
If you used the Surface Touch Cover before, this keyboard cover will bring back memories. The material it's made from is of good quality, with very precise cutouts for both the speakerphone and the recessed home button. The printing on the keys is pretty good except for the Fn key which came slightly faded. The cover itself is slightly larger than the S6 or S6 Edge but I discovered that it can fit the phone along with the Samsung Protective Cover perfectly.Pairing via NFC is fast with basically no noticeable battery impact and the connection process is quick and painless. While it is useful for shooting out quick emails, the biggest problem I had with it is the lack of an actual kickstand. It would have been great if I could have propped the phone up while typing instead of having it lie flat. The biggest problem I have with the SlimType is that it is erratic in the sense takes a while to register a key input or sometimes it just refuses to respond even though it is connected. Not entirely sure if it's software or hardware issue but that really detracted from the typing experience.Overall, it's actually a good product at a great price for what it offers but the connection/stability issue plaguing it is keeping me from actually recommending it to others.

Kickstand or hinges missing make it hard to use
Very nice idea, nfc, nice keyboard (there's an ok trade off between non-clickability and thinness) but the ergonomics don't cut it:1-they answered a question on amazon saying that you should use this laying flat on a table. But even then, the screen would be flat on the table, you should get something to prop it up. Or it should have some form of kickstand or origami like folding thing.2-if you use it like a slide out keyboard phone: you can rest the (rather heavy) phone on your extended index fingers, and type with your thumbs. But this is awckward and uncomfortable for more than a few words. Plus I have small hands and the keyboard, which takes the whole area, is too big for me, plus having indexes extended below the phone holding it make it very difficult to type the keys on the extremes of the keyboard.I don't want to kill this really innovative product, fine quality and original, but it's really missing something. Like a kickstand or hinges so the phone stays in place when you hold the keyboard, or some form of support that does this. Or a real killer would be a slideout version of this. But as it is, it's hardly useful IMHO.Wait for V 2.0...

Not at all good. Had to pay return shipping as well as a prime member
Smart cover is in the title but doesnt serve as a smart cover at all. Keyboard is lackluster and is nothing close to the surface keyboards

I liked the keyboard however I did find that I resorted back to using on screen keyboard .. more because that was what I was use to. Also its worth noting that the keyboard wasn't as reactive as I would lie i.e. I might have to press a button twice to get the character to register ... possible delay?

Not ready for the big time yet.
The way the keyboard activates seems a bit flaky. Typing is also painful, since the key presses take for ever to register. I cannot yet recommend this as a useful tool, I am only using it as a flip cover.
