While this style of loom with the bolt-together blocks is a bit of a challenge to set up, once it's together, it looks great. You have to put it together somewhat loosely, slide the wires to where they need to be, then take it off and tighten everything up. But then everything stays in place. It's nice in that it holds the wires pretty firmly, so when you change plugs or pull the valve cover, everything stays lines up. This sort of thing works better with custom-length plug wires where you cut them to length and crimp on the distributor end. On my new Gen 6 454 with full-length headers and GM "hi po" cast cylinder heads in an '85 Chevy full-size truck, it bolted to the factory cast aluminum valve cover bolts without the included spacers and provided plenty of exhaust clearance. There are a set of roughly half inch spacers included, though, if you need to raise this up a bit on your application. There are not bolts included for attaching to the valve covers, though, so you'll have to come up with longer bolts / studs if you need the spacers.

i like the product but I didn't like the small nuts on the backside, I installed aluminum nutserts and got stainless steel socket heads to replace the stock ones. Works well and I don't have to hold the nut on the backside.
