My husband ordered this and is very pleased with the sounds it provides.

You may be weary about going digital, I get it. But I also understand technology really well (I work at MIT). What you need to know is that this amp uses an insane amount of processing power for what it is, far more than what you've heard from other digital amps. Just the reverb alone uses as much processing power as other full-blown multi-effects units. The best I can describe this amp is like all other digital representations are like VHS and this amp is at 8K levels. Also, this amp was created to sound like "THE" Super Reverb - no guessing, no fluctuations in tubes or resistors, it's dead just on Fender tone always. And lastly, the speakers. The speakers in this are ALNICO, not ceramic. Alnico speakers tend to sound warmer and have a different breakup, which suits this bright amp perfectly.

This really is a very well done amp just like the rest of the tone master series. Amazing cleans and nice overdriven tones at any volume. Looks like a Super Reverb and sounds like a Super Reverb. Is it perfect? No, but it does a damn fine job emulating what it’s supposed to. Maybe the next version it will smell like a Super Reverb when all warmed up and overdriven…hmm.

I’m a Fender tube amp guy, since the 80’s. This Super Reverb Tone Master has the classic Fender tone. Love the attenuation feature. I was skeptical, but this beast has that vintage chime. The Vibrato is spot on, so is the Reverb. I love it!Buy it!

I’ve had one of the original since 1973, 50 years now and I just can’t swap it for a new one or anything different. It’s still in tip top shape and still sounds like it did 50 years ago. It is my top pick for amplifyers.
