This fan is horrible. The solar panel melted when I put it in the sun. There is very little air output. The solar panel does not charge, so at night or without sun, the unit will not run.

I have had several of these for my animal refuge but bunnies like to chew on the wires, so I had to get a little creative with installing. Don't let their adorableness fool you, they are devious. This fan is in their second-story cafeteria. Unfortunately, the wire from the fan to the solar panel is too short for their sleeping habitat, so I will have to find a solar fan with a longer wire or go electric for that space with wires on the ceiling so they can't sink their teeth into it. Texas has brutal heat and tho the hoppers have many places to hop to they need a fan that you just can't provide everywhere for them. <stomping foot>

Tiny, underpowered and only works under intense direct sunlight. I figured the second power slot would be nice but it can't seem to charge anything.

This fan does not have good blowing power, it’s definitely not worth buying. The fan moves too slow to move any sufficient air. I Would NOT recommend this!!!

I bought this to put in my tiny greenhouse to circulate the air. Yes it gets hot in the greenhouse but not that hot, as I do work in there and it is vented. The wiring to the solar panel melted (where the wire is connected to the back of the solar panel) and left a dollop of melted plastic goo on the wooden table I had it sitting on. So the solar part is non effective at this point. I took it inside and use it as a usb connection fan now instead by the couch. It is a very very very tiny fan and does not really blow much air. I have purchased other small solar fans for the greenhouse before and never had problems with them. This was a secondary fan to augment my older one, so no big loss… but would not recommend. Not worth the hassle of sending back for a refund as I can use it as a USB fan by the couch. But disappointing…

I purchased a couple of these for our mini greenhouse, and one of the fans that came didn't work. We swapped the fans and solar panels to see which one was the issue and both the panels worked fine. We reordered and the replacement worked fine, but it's just something to be aware of. We kept them running pretty much all day, every day and they lasted about a year. Honestly, I might be able to get them working again if I had a close look, but our greenhouse died (unrelated) so there isn't much of a point right now. Will update if I'm able to get them going again.

The media could not be loaded.  I was expecting this thing to be kind of cool, in the sense that it's solar powered, and it might keep air moving in my daughter's playset. However, you can even feel the breeze from it, and it helps quite a bit! I think I bought, and put it up, about 3 months ago, and it still works great. Nice unit. Totally worth the price y'all.

The speed on this fan in direct sunlight is dismal. If there’s not VERY bright, direct sunlight this fan does absolutely nothing. Just in case it’s not obvious, there’s no battery feature, so this fan is completely useless at night. I realized that, but I wanted to share in case some folks didn’t.
