I can't really say that they do what they seller claims they do because I don't know if they are effective or not. Just seemed like a good added precaution. I have two (one for my credit card, one for my debit card) and same for hubby. Every little bit helps. I don't know that this type of theft is common in my small, rural town, but we do travel, so hopefully it is an inexpensive deterrent.

I followed another reviewers advice and wrapped some clear box tape around mine to make them more sturdy. I really like that I don't have to carry one of those hard case security wallets. It's also great when I don't want to carry anything. I can throw a cc, my licence and insurance card in there and put it in a pocket. Any cash I want to carry does have to go in another pocket, because it all just won't fit, but hey, it leaves my hands free!

I bought these because I saw a late night ad on TV using scare tactics and selling these for about ten times the price they can be had for here at Amazon. I've never had an identity theft problem but I figured "what the heck".Do they work? I really couldn't tell you. However, they don't take up any material space in my wallet and presumably I'm less prone to having someone electronically access my credit card information and go on a spending spree; which, if it were to happen the credit card companies never hold their customers liable anyway and if they did they're limited to $50.

Been wanting these for a while since I don't like wallets but, they're not as robust as I'd hoped they'd be. They're literally like aluminum foil paper slots. They can be wrinkled easily, especially at the entrance or the edges. Would've been nice if they were just a little more firm.

My wife and I share these sleeves and they fit our individual wallets perfectly. I have not been in a situation where they have been put to the test, but if they have and worked, I would not know because that's the idea right? So far so good.

keep my cards from deteriorating so fast and I guess provide protection too. Make my cards a little bigger and don't fit in the slots in my wallet, have to put them in with my cash, but they work.

Durability is still out to jury but these are a must for identity protection. The new credit cards are convenient in some ways but leave you open to thieves.

Although they do protect my credit cards while in my wallet, the sleeves are a pain in the neck to use b/c the cards get "stuck" inside of them, making it hard to get out of my wallet when I need to use them.
