For years I've eyeballed my angles. With this on my blade my angles are dead on. It really helped speed up my production times not having to go back and redo my angles juuuuust a smidge. It was good to go right out of the package. The canvas case is heavy duty and well constructed. Impressive.

Like the overall size. Easy set up and appears to be very accurate.

Even though this arrived with dead batteries (not that big of a deal) I like two things about this gauge over the others. 1) the mounting surface is flat all the way across. If you look at others the edges or corners are raised up a bit. 2) the magnet spans the entire measurement surface. other put two small magnets under the raised edges or corners. I sometimes want to place the gauge on a surface that is 1/2" to 3/4" round. Not a pipe but the flat side of a piece of steel bar. This will magnetic to the center of this gauge. I can't use other devices when I need to make this type of measurement. The magnet also appears to be of good strength.

Nice unit, works as advertised. Good deal for the price, I am very happy with my purchase. Helps to make sure your table saw blade is adjusted right. Would buy again.

I like to build stuff out of steel, and this makes getting right easy. Wish I had bought one years ago.

I purchased this digital angle gauge mainly to use with a knife sharpener to set sharpening angles. But I also have a table saw that this would be perfect for setting the blade for angled cuts. It can also be used as a simple level for hanging pictures, etc. This meter uses two AAA batteries (included). It is easy to turn on/off and will turn itself off if not used for about 3 minutes. For woodworking, the gauge has a magnet on its bottom so you can stick it right on the table saw blade to set the angle. It comes with a nice fabric storage pouch that has a belt loop on it for hanging it on your belt if desired.The only thing I do not like about this gauge is you have to use a small Phillips head screwdriver to access the battery compartment. This isn't always convenient. It would have been so much better if the battery hatch cover could be simply snapped into place. It's a minor complaint, though, and unless you plan to do a lot of measuring, the batteries probably won't need to be changed very often.Overall, this is a great little gauge for leveling things and measuring angles accurately. It's also very inexpensive to purchase.

This works so much better than I expected. I was able to build a soundbox for a harp very easily. I had some 7, 11, and 15 degree angles to deal with, and this set my blade quickly and so, so easily. If you are on the fence about it, do it. You won't regret this purchase.
