Both brushes are lightweight and appear to be well made. The bamboo brush came with extra pegs which is nice. The boar brush is soft and does just what it is supposed to.I see a lot of people complaining that the boar bristles aren't long enough to reach the scalp but boar brushes aren't designed to do that. They are for smoothing and adding shine to the hair, the other brush is for detangling. If you want a different product do your research, this does exactly what it is supposed to.Everything arrived on time and with nice packaging too. Good job!

GREAT brushes. I have hair past my hips. The bamboo brush is super comfortable on my scalp and the BHB has played a large part in me washing my hair every 2 or 3 day (it takes forever to dry my hair and I have to blow dry it or I risk getting a head ache from the cold or wind - I dont like washing my hair). The BHB helps move the oil from my scalp to the ret of my hair and my hair feels SO much stronger and healthier than before!! . I try to wash the BHB every couple weeks or it gets dirty. These are so much less expensive than other BHB on the market and they have held up very well to daily use. My best friend bought them since I liked them so much. So, 10/10 would recommend to a friend ;)PS: I think not washing my hair daily has helped clear my skin up! Its crazy but I think my skin was slightly dry and irritated from shampooing every day. Just an added bonus to healthy hair!

The bamboo prong brush catches in your hair, making it not such a gentle or a great detangler. The bottom of the prongs, have a little tiny gap to them, that tend to grab your hair and cause it to break. It's an ok brush, just not overly thrilled with that part...especially at the price they cost. The boar brush part is nice however, and if I was just reviewing that...it would be much higher. It may not work real great for super thick hair, but mine is thinned out and it's been reaching the scalp and going all the way through the hair otherwise.I would have preferred to get 'just' the bore brush, but I couldn't find where that was an option. Overall, I give it an ok for those reasons. It's a nice brush set, but it has a few draw backs that you would expect a little bit better out of for the price. 25 is quite a bit for this item. I will be keeping them, not that you are given much of a choice with a no return option [despite being guaranteed]. As long as you keep these things in mind, and it sounds like it would be fitting with those restrictions, I think you won't be disappointed otherwise. They are nicely made, and the wide base allows you to get a lot of coverage otherwise.

I see alot of 5 star reviews and wonder..how?...Yes, these brushes are very heavy and beautiful and were packaged nicely,but I bought these brushes to help grow my hair out, however I quickly noticed alot of fallout and breakage. I have thick medium long hair. These unfortunately didn't work for me.

I absolutely love this brush set! I was hoping to find a good brush to help heal my hair as I'm growing it out, and was a little skeptical at first, but the wood bristle brush feels great against the scalp and the boar bristle makes my hair sleek and shiny and keeps the fly-aways tamed. Also, they are a lot bigger than I anticipated, so it is well worth the price and so durable to probably last for a long time (did come with extra pieces for the wood bristle brush). I HIGHLY Recommend if you are looking for a good brush set!

I have been trying to grow my hair out after many years of keeping it short, mostly because it was "easy" and I was very depressed and unable to take care of myself beyond the bare minimum. I'm happy to say I am doing better and am re-investing in taking care of myself and my appearance. Honestly, for about ten years I didn't own a brush at all. Most of the time I'm at work where I have to wear a hat and just let my hair do whatever.I read about boar bristle brushes being good for distributing your scalp's natural oils so I looked around and decided on this set because I do have very thick and coarse hair which I have read does not always respond great to boar bristle brushes that are moderately priced. I hoped the second brush with the pegs would massage my scalp and perform as an all purpose brush if the boar bristles didn't cut it, so I'd still have at least one brush that worked. To be fair, the boar bristle brush is good quality but it is a little short. I have a hard time penetrating to the root with it, so I just take my time and do my hair in sections, and then go over it with the peg brush at the end. Hygiene is self care, and anything you do for yourself you should treat like a meaningful part of your day, so I won't complain about having to do a little extra "work." I spend most of my day working for someone else's profit so why complain about doing some work for myself?The appearance of the wood is pleasant and the construction seems to be of a good quality. There are some brushes on the market that I'd want to hide when company is over, but not these. They look very nice and I hope they last a long time.The size of the paddles is also pretty generous so if you have a lot of hair I think these are a great investment. The wide-spaced wooden peg brush is also really soothing to use on my scalp. The pegs don't scrape or poke my scalp, rather they feel nice and haven't caused me any trouble when brushing in the morning after sleeping on my damp hair.Hot take: If you are looking for a boar bristle brush that will penetrate heavy, thick, coarse, etc. hair, then you might need to look for something with longer pins or with a combination of boar and plastic pegs. Otherwise I can't complain! They do exactly what I wanted them to do. I have just started and can't report on whether it really makes a difference for my hair's overall health and appearance, but it's nice to have good quality supplies to turn to.

When punched I didn't realize two brushes were coming my way, which was a nice surprise. The brush ordered is exactly what I was looking for - flat natural bristle brush. These are great for brushing hair yet not causing breakage. They are also good for those that know how to dry their hair with these brushes. I apparently am not ambidextrous enough to hold a bush in one hand and a hair dryer on the other while making circles on my belly with my third hand.The extra brush is one I use quite often. Because the bristles are wide, it is grest for un tangling hair while wet.

THESE HAIR BRUSHES ARE GREAT FOR TAKING OUT TANGLES AND IS GENTLE ENOUGH TO REDUCE BREAKAGES. THE BAMBOO BRUSH IS A GREAT ALL ROUNDER ESPECIALLY AS IT IS A GOOD ALTERNATIVE FOR MASSAGING THE SCALP, TRIED AND TESTED AS I HAVE A ROUTINE OF BRUSHING MY HAIR AS IT PERSONALLY RELAXES ME AND HELPS ME TO SLEEP BETTER. THE PURE BRISTLE BRUSH HELPS TO GIVE A SMOOTH AND SHINE TO MY DARK COLORED HAIR.

Beide Bürsten sehen qualitativ hochwertig aus. Es werden Ersatzstäbchen mitgeliefert, falls man mal einen verlieren sollte. Die Haare lassen sich leicht aus den Bürsten entfernen und das Durchkämmen bereitet besonders mit der Schweineborstenbürste keine Schmerzen. Die Haare laden sich nicht statisch auf, was bei meinen dünnen Haaren sonst immer ein Problem ist.

Sauber verarbeitete Haarbürsten aus Holz. Liegen gut in der Hand, sind nicht zu schwer, jedoch meiner Meinung nach nicht unbedingt in Reisegröße. Nachhaltig, kämmen gut, ohne zu sehr zu ziehen und sind auch für Kinder geeignet, denn sie kratzen die Kopfhaut nicht. Klare Kaufempfehlung für zu Hause.

I love the look and feel of those brushes. I was reading a lot about how to take care about my hair and figured out that natural boar bristles are effective for keeping the hair healthy. Also I am taking care about our planet and wanted to but something natural.This is a no brainer. The bristles are very soft, which is better for the scalp. Nevertheless, people with thick hair might have some problems with it.The massage brush feels awesome and both the brushes make my hair look shiny and healthy again.

Für meine Haare sind die Borsten zu weich! Ansonsten gutes Produkt!
