What is the total length & width of the large & X-Large scoops ?

The ones I received were VERY small...like the scoop itself not including the handle was MAYBE1" x 2" long. ..maybe 2 TBS. Your question is on the 1\2 cup scoop maybe 2" x 3" ? I'm not sure. Are they dishwasher safe?

Not sure. I hand washed them. Perhaps I would try a few in the silverware holder in your dishwasher.

i need a scoop to scoop litter into the litter box..would x large work?

I would say it holds about a 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup. It would work, but may be a little small for filling the entire litter box.
