Beautiful color, very warm, not quite elegant enough for formal attire, but almost!
This is the best quality for the money. It is VERY thick and warm. Beautiful color. The only thing is that the edges aren't sewn and neither are the fringes. No-one would ever notice that though! Also, since the shawl is heavy it lays like a blanket on your shoulders a little bit. It could work for over a formal gown, but it would work better if it were a little bit thinner. But if it were thinner you might be cold- so I recommend this!!

The material is wonderful! I love it
The material is wonderful! I love it! The reason for giving it a 4 star is really my own fault, it is not as large as the picture, I am 5'5" tall and it only come down to my waist. But I know I will still get a lot of use out of it.

Not cashmere, quite scratchy
Definitely not cashmere. It's very scratchy, probably low-midgrade wool. I have a wool scarf that's much softer than this.

It is not cashmere. It may have a little in a blend with scratchy wool.
