Excellent - a must read
The best Stoic collected writings - a must have for any proponent of Stoicism - and a great compliment to books like Ryan Holiday's that discuss similar topics.

Do yourself a favor and read these - starting with Meditations by Aurelius
Buy the Kindle version (4 books in one!), much better transcription and previous typos fixed from the print version.Definitely a must have for anyone who is into Stoicism and the focus of changing what is in your control. I read Aurelius' meditations at least once a year. The others from Seneca are great too. Amazing price as well for this full collection!

Great work.
Awesome book and great collection of classics. My only gripe would we with the the work of Epictitus because I'm not a big fan of him. I prefer Seneca and Marcus Aurelius. However that is just my opinion and overall the rest of the book is must have and should be there for any stoic, Christian, Jew, Hermetic and Deist.

Print errors and terrible translation
This is a pretty bad translation of this work. Pretty hard to read with sentences with nonsense grammatical structures. On top of that if the reverse page says Marcus Aurelio even if you are reading Seneca's writings.

I don’t live in Rome, NY - but that’s where tracking said this was delivered.
Revision: the package was delivered to my neighbors doorway. Neither one of us lives in Rome, NY.The book looks good. I look forward to reading it!

Bare bones translations
This book provides just the translated texts, with no introductions or notes to explain classical references to gods, political leaders, historic events, etc. So you’ll have to rely on Wikipedia or other Internet resources for exploring background details. The diction is rather archaic, but easy to follow if you’re used to reading old texts. Example: “Wilt thou then, my soul, never be good and simple…?”

Masterpiece of human thought.
Nothing in philosophy comes near Stoicism. Stoicism is pure distilled human thought. Every line of these master thinkers will affect you profoundly. Read and re-read this book til it becomes a part of your DNA. In this crazy world, this book is an oasis of tranquility and peace. Highly recommend it.

Good book
Very light, good book, comfortable to take wherever you go. Eye-friendly shrifts and quality paper. Will not comment on the book itself as it comprises works of some of the greatest philosophers.
