Mao, Vol. 1: The Manga

Rumiko has always managed to write great stories and this is no exception! While this first volume can make you nostalgic about her past works it also has cemented its own path. A must read if you are into horror-mystery series!

Mad Inuyasha vibes in this series but goes back to the Taisho Era (1912-1926) instead of Sengoku. Bad demons and awesome swords are a plenty is this new series go check it out.

I’ve always wanted to read something by Rumiko Takahashi but didn’t know where to start then I randomly heard about her brand new series Mao and I read the whole thing in one sitting it was a really really fun volume I will be eagerly waiting for volume 2

the art and story are really great! i can’t stop reading! can’t wait for the next volumes.

This book remind me so much of Inuyasha with some differences! It was really exciting the read as now we got a different mystery to discover with the curse a cat demon Byoki place on Moa and Nanoka. This bit remind at the the time when Naraku was mysterious in Inuyasha. I can't wait for the next volume!
