Comfortable large backpack with good weight distribution
Immediately noticed the huge hip/waist straps, much more comfortable than comparably-sized (though significantly cheaper) bags from Gvanca and Earth-Pak. 👍Also noticed the stitched attachment point near the base of the pack (3rd pic). It's smaller than those on the other packs and does not inspire confidence, but no reviews mention it failing so I'm probably just being paranoid. 👎It has side water bottle holders and both a mesh compartment and bungee straps, which gives it way more storage than the other two I've tried. 👍It also has more handles to pick it up by, and weight adjusting straps near the shoulders. The bottom of the bag rests right around my waist level too, which is a massive improvement over the Gvanca 85L bag, where it hung at cheek level and distributed weight poorly. 👍Seems good all-around (which it should be for the $150 pricetag)I'm flying to India for trekking in a few days and I'll update this review if the bag either holds up well or doesn't. I'll pay attention to those strap attachment points in particular so prospective customers know if they're good. Thanks Rockagator! 🐊

Perfect food pack
Used this for boundary waters. Put all my dried meals, fish batter, butter and oil in it. Stuffed it full, and it held the weight. Only improvement I would recommend, make it easier to tie the pack to a rope for hanging in trees. But just wrapping the stick a few times in the handles worked alright. No homes formed, food stayed dry. Even though the inside of a brand new tent, didn't. Thanks feild and forest! Not!

Great pack
Used this pack on a recent boundary waters trip. The pack worked great as a small food pack. Was able to single portage this pack and my canoe with ease. This 90 liter pack fits the bear vault bear barrel perfectly on its side. I bet It could fit 2 barrels. Great versatility. The only improvement I would suggest they could make is to make the bottom thicker as setting your pack on rocks in the bwca wears packs out fast. Overall great pack for the money.

Built like a tank
One week in the boundary waters in MN. Pack was subject to multiple portages. Not only did everything inside stay nice and dry but shoulder straps and waist belt were comfortable and well built. Exterior handles all in just the right places to grab the pack when needed to pick up or move around.

Small hole in bag
The bag arrived with a small hole towards the top in the shape of a cut- seemingly from a box cutter or the like. Otherwise, the bag would have been perfect. Looks great, seems to be built well. Normally I would return and ask for a replacement because I’ll bet it was a one-off mistake, but I don’t have time to spend on the return process as I’m heading into the rainy wilderness in 2 days. Hoping a patch does the job. Disappointed.

Quality pack for the price
If your looking for a good dry pack that can fit majority of your gear & dont want to spend a ton of money, this is the one to buy. I've used this pack on multiple kayak, canoe, & hiking trips & it has been flawless. I wouldn't recommend for extended long hiking trips as it doesn't really have a frame for the extra support needed. Straps don't have much padding & dig into your shoulders when it's heavy. Very happy for the purpose of this purchase.
