Our 00-11 DRZ400E/K rad guards utilize our 2 piece construction, featuring a face guard and rad brace in one stout package. Weâ€ve upped the protection by using solid aluminum rods on the face guard, making it virtually impossible to squish your rads from a side impact. The brace bolts up flush on the side of the rad and anchors at the fuel tank mounting points. These braces make it virtually impossible for your rads to fold back in a crash. Our DRZ400E/K rad guards are compatible with most aftermarket fuel tanks currently available. Unabiker DRZ400E/K rad guards are available in bare aluminum or anodized red, blue or black finishes.

Does not fit PERFECTLY. Some modifications required
First of all, the back part of the front fender will scrape against these guards as you turn the bars back and forth. This can be fixed by removing the front fender, heating the back end of the fender, and slightly bending the plastic to clear the guards behind it. It's not hard but it does require one more step.Second, if you have a larger aftermarket fuel tank (in my case an acerbis) the braces behind the rad guards need to be modified to clear the parts of the tank that hang down right behind the radiators. I had to remove quite a bit of metal with a grinder in order to get the braces to clear the tank and reach the tank mounting holes that the braces were designed to bolt to. These braces will probably fit just fine without modification if you have the stock tank. But seriously, who has the stock tank on their DRZ, especially if they're installing radiator guards? In the end, the braces still seem rock solid despite me removing some metal but it does take some grinding to mount when running a big tank.

Eh, not my first choice anymore.
Decent but I think I'll go back to the Devol brand ones as they seem a bit sturdier.

Awesome protection
Fit is perfect. I have no doubt it will provide protection to my radiators in the event of an accident. Very stout.
