Supershieldz (2 Pack) Designed for Google Pixel Tempered Glass Screen Protector, Anti Scratch, Bubble Free

When I had to replace my phone for a warranty, that meant I had to do the same for the screen protector. I admit it, I was one of the jerks who originally bought the super expensive ZAGG glass screen protectors from Verizon due to their "lifetime warranty." That's a sneaky way of saying, "We'll give you all the screen protectors you want! You just gotta pay 6 bucks for shipping.." Why spend $6 for 1 when I can go to Amazon and get 2 for around the same price? Especially when ZAGG hasn't fixed the horrible "halo" effect on their design. So I went to Amazon and got lost in the seemingly infinite options.I was deliberating for far too long about which screen protector wouldn't give me a "halo" effect. I pulled the trigger on this brand after watching a youtube video where I noticed the screen protector on the guy's phone looked perfect. I asked him about the brand and he told me it was Super Shieldz. I have to say, and maybe I'm lucky here, there is no halo, no nothing. Everything seems to be ideal with this one. Lucky for me, I have an extra one waiting for me in the box whenever I need it.My experience:I wiped the screen with the wet wipe exhaustively, then the dry wipe, and just went for it. I lined it up first with the proximity sensor and then the edge of the screen. I laid it down and ... bubbles. After about 5 minutes of fiddling with a credit card and a finger nail, I got it down 100%.10/10 would buy again.

I had never installed a screen protector until I bought this item. It was actually pretty easy with the hinge method. I had a bubble at first, but kept working it toward the side with a credit card and that worked well. My only real complaint is that I'm used to setting my phone on the couch or chair arm next to me, but this screen protector is apparently slipperier than the one on my old phone. I've noticed that the phone can slide off surfaces that are not completely flat. Not a huge deal, but definitely something to know about. A good value and easy to install!

Ok, so I've ordered four different tempered glass protectors from three different companies for my pixel. I ordered from Yootech twice, Orzly, and now supershieldz. The yootech Protector was nice, but it had a bad bubble effect around the edges, due to the curved glass of the pixel. The company's customer service was excellent, but the product did not live up. I ordered from them twice, hoping that maybe I just had a fluke, but both sets of protectors had the bubble around the edges of the screen, allowing dust to collect. Then I tried the protector from Orzly. This one completely adhered to the screen, however it had a weird dot matrix pattern, which hindered the beautiful views on the pixel. I couldn't take sacrificing the prettiness of the screen.Finally, enter the supershieldz. I had read on other reviews that the screen protector is slightly smaller than the screen, and this enabled it to not bubble at the edges. For some people this bothered them because it did not fully cover the width of the screen. But I was willing to try it. They're right, it doesn't fully cover the width of the screen. But there are no bubbles or lifting of the screen protector around the edges for me, this is a sacrifice I'm willing to make because my case protects the rest of the width of the screen. This protector is very clear and was easy to install following the instructions. Finally after 4 tries I have a screen protector that fits my pixel.

This is a high quality screen protector, highly recommend.All Pixel owners should be aware of the beveled edges of the screen posing a challenge for screen protector manufacturers. If a manufacturer gets greedy with the amount of screen they try to cover or lack precision in their process you will get the dreaded "halo" where there is an ugly ring around the protector from the protector not being fully in contact with the screen. Not only is this an eye sore but also impacts the touch capabilities of your phone screen.These protectors do not suffer from the halo effect.Another issue you often see is the "rainbow" effect, were either poor quality glass or adhesive cause color distortion that is most visible when whites are displayed.These protectors do not suffer from the rainbow effect. In fact the glass and adhesive are very clear, it is impossible to tell the protector is covering the screen based solely on the image/color quality.Yet another common issue is a gritty texture that doesn't wash off and is not only uncomfortable but holds on to dirt and oils.These protectors are very smooth and easy to clean simply by buffing them off on your shirt.The packaging is very clean making it easier to ensure a dust free install. Some lower quality protectors have dirt all through the packaging making it almost impossible to avoid getting particles under the protector.As an added tip, install the protector in the bathroom after a hot shower. The humidity will help pull dust out of the air.
