I got this as a modest piece. But the sleeves are sheer, and the slip for the skirting cuts off at the knees. So now I have to sew in my own slip to attach to the short piece underneath. Yet another project. Im half tempted to return it.. but I’ll probably work on it. It is beautiful.

This dress is beautifully made. The material and stitching is very flattering. The only concern for me is that the color was way off. I was expecting black/grey, but what I received was black/tan dress. I’m keeping it because it’s so feminine and flattering but heads up if you’re particular about color.

I ordered one of the smaller prints because it is far less noticeable that the pattern doesn’t line up at the seams- especially the waist. Very cute and fits well with the exception that it is a midi dress considering my height. Still looks cute, just not designed for anyone over 5’6 or so.

The dresses underskirt was a short skirt while the chiffon like cover was below the knee, was expecting it to be longer with the images

I’m 5’4, size 28” waist, 41” hip, and usually XL gives me room to breathe, but I could not fasten the buttons over my bust. The couple of buttons I was able to get over my bust looked stretched. The dress is also not as long as in the photos, but very short. I’m two inches below average height, so I usually expect it to fall just an inch longer. The material is okay and the pattern is cute. Just know that the sizes run extremely small and the dress is shorter than to be expected.

The dress is beautiful and lightweight so you don't get overheated. I got the yellow and it isn't transparent at all. I would recommend going one size up. This dress runs a little small and has absolutely no stretch. I had a difficult time get it over my shoulders and breasts, but it was comfortable and easy to move in once it was on.

Nice dress but way too small

This dress is pretty. The fabric is somewhat shiny and silky. The skirt is not as full as pictured, but still nice. The only problem for me is that the waist is about 4 inches higher than my natural waist. I am not particularly tall (5'6''). The dress fit well in the chest and sleeves, but If I try to use the included self tie, it sat awkwardly. I tried using a wider belt, but I don't own any wide enough to get this to sit on my waist and not have the seam show. I will keep the dress, and just remove the loops. If I wear it without a belt, it is is something like a low empire style. Hope this information helps another customer.
