I needed a night stand and desk and this was a good 2 in one. I have college online and the desk on top swivels to where I can sit in bed comfortably and move around as needed without moving my notes and laptop around with me. Definitely worth it to anyone who has a busy life.

My laptop

The drawers should be called baskets as they don't come with any hardware to make them drawers. They just sit inside of the desk openings. When you pull the "boxes" out of opening, they have to be manually held or supported or they'll fall out and onto the floor. Disappointing .Otherwise seems to be about what was expected.

There were damages to a few of the pieces, mostly just scratches, or nicks, but there was one piece that had a significant chunk missing. I was not sure how this would affect the overall look of the table once assembled, however this ended up being extremely visible on the front of the table (upper left corner) - pretty annoying.Directions are difficult to determine the directions some of the pieces should face, resulting in having to take apart and correct.

In the directions it only shows you how to make one of the drawers and seems to forget about the second. You need 2 M screws for each drawer. The bottom of the long white pipe also calls for 2 M screws but this is where the P screws go!! So don't make the same mistake I did by following their directions for that step. Instead, use the P screws for attatching the shelf onto the bottom of the pipe so you that way you will have the 2 M screws left to make the second drawer. The drawers just sit on a shelf so it's optional. Also be warned that the shelf between the 2 drawers is a square and doesn't go all the way back if you don't plan to use the drawers. Overall it was pretty easy to build and came with an actual screwdriver. There was one step where they recommended using a flat head and you will probably need it bc their screwdriver didn't work too well on that part. There is some places where it is chipped a little but overall I love the color. For scale I used a regular black lighter, and the tablet is a 12.4in galaxy tablet. When you swing the table out the bottom of it (the pole) is about 23 1/2 inches off the ground and the top of the table is at 27 inches off the ground.

Are use it for my laptop and swing back-and-forth really easy looks great. Thank you, Louie.

the instructions were hard to read and the materials scratched so easily

Putting this thing together took me at least 3 1/2 hours. The small screw they gave you is super hard to use and it literally gave me calluses on my hand from using it. They also forgot to give some of the screws so I had to alternate when using them for different parts. Some of the pieces were chipped but I don’t mind that much.
