Vega Holsters V OK146 Leather Shoulder Holster, Black

I ordered this shoulder rig for the Sig P226. I ordered directly from vega since I couldn’t find it for this model gun on Amazon. Free shipping and was delivered internationally within 4 days. Overall I think it’s a great set up and Im really happy with it. Ive searched many manufacturers and have tried several different brands so far. My biggest dislike with most is that for a large full sized gun, most left the holster component open mouth with the exposed barrel protruding through the opposite side. The vega holster component is very form fitting to the gun and completely covers all of it.As for the harness I have a couple dislikes but it is fully functional. The buckle system on it is a bit difficult to make adjustments. Also the connection piece where it comes together in the back is held together by snaps. It hasn’t come undone but it is a concern that as some point it may unsnap while wearing it.The double ammo pouch is a very nice looking soft leather that has an adjustable tension screws and double snap retention straps. My small dislikes of it are that it was so loose on the mags when finished setting the tension, half the screws where protruding out the back which I sawed off. Also the double snap system should allow for different mag sizes but using a plus two extension on a normal mag was barely doable. I had to stretch the hell out of the straps for this. If that mad these straps just a little longer it would be perfect.Overall everything works and is quickly becoming my favorite shoulder rig so far so Im not going to fault any of the cons mentioned.
