Lieutenant Birnbaum

This is a well written book that kept me totally engrossed throughout. Lt. B. is a true man of character. He lives his beliefs. I quickly came to care about the Lt. and most of the characters he loved and interacted with throughout his long life. The ripples of his giving life are still spreading through the people he touched and the people they touched.It is also a well written easy to read book that kept me up all night. I read few books that have this capability.

ZT"L What a unique special person he was! Influenced countless thousands of Yiddn. Basically explains why we are alive. A must reading for anybody looking for "the soul" of Judaism.

This book was written by my Uncle, I think all Jews should read it to learn alittle about our survival and history. It also talks about my family, and growing up in NY.Bob
