Drops the tone perfectly without cutting the growl!
Was exactly what I was looking for. I run a 318, 4 barrel carb, headers, 3” straightpipe with just this muffler, took the rattle and pop out, dropped overall volume by 15% and lowered the tone by ALOT. Love it!

So much better!
I had true duals on my 09 Silverado. Long tubes to 2.5 pipes to x-pipe to two magnaflow mufflers. It sounded horrible, tin sounding, and rattle from the exhaust pulses. (no leaks, rubs, and pipes secure). I installed two of these and removed the two magnaflows/xpipe and replaced those with a borla dual in/out muffler similar to the magnaflow tru x. I now have the same sound without the tin, rattles, and drone. It sounds cleaner and inside the cab sounds perfect. These really cleaned up the note and stopped a lot of the unwanted sounds.

Add deeps sound and reduces raspy sound
Install the 2.5 inch (diameter) x 12 inch (length) resonator on my 2012 Mk6 GTI with DSG transmission. I did a muffler delete and replaced the factory resonator for this aftermarket (also have Stock downpipe). I have to say it really does the job. It made the exhaust sound deep and eliminated the raspy sound of a 4cyl engine. Is a little too quiet for my taste but it does the job lol. Minimal drone so I am very happy

Worked perfect for farm tractor - sounds great!
The sound turned our farm tractor into a respectable toned machine. Sounds more like the smoothest running big-rig, in person. Not too loud at all but definitely enjoyable. For reference, this machine has an Isuzu inline 6cyl diesel, approx. 70 HP (best guess). Installed easy, looks great (in our opinion). Is on there solid and ready to work immediately. No leaks. We added an 18" extension to send exhaust out of face, also worked wonderfully. Love this exhaust and recommend it highly.
