An excellent mystery and suspense story. Alex is such a talented author, you feel like part of the stories. Ryder is beginning to realize that his sister is getting to be a resourceful and smart women. Another great book in the series.

I love this k9 story. It's full of suspense. A real page Turner. A very believable story. I am looking forward to the next book.

I enjoy this series so much that I can't keep to my intended one-a-year pace. At this rate, I'll soon catch up and be forced to cool my heels waiting for the next book.If you're a fan of Alex Kava's Ryder Creed series, you know to pay attention to her acknowledgments at the back of each book in which she often tells readers where she got the inspiration for that particular one. Hidden Creed is no exception. Learning about her writing process is interesting as well.Although I did find the serial killer element of the book a bit tame, I really enjoyed Hidden Creed. In it, Kava shows readers some of what is involved in training medical alert dogs. I never cease to be amazed at how incredibly talented canines are. Kava is working some magic with two of the secondary characters. Jason, the young Army veteran, is slowly working himself out of depression from losing an arm as well as PTSD. As he becomes more open, he comes in contact with more people. I love watching his healing process. I also love watching Creed's sister, Brodie, as she recuperates from her own ordeal. She's an incredible young woman who's very tired of everyone treating her like she's going to shatter into a million pieces. I look forward to what she will do in the next book.If you love fast-paced thrillers with marvelous working dogs and two-legged characters who rapidly come to feel like family members, you really need to read this series. Start at the beginning with Breaking Creed. You can thank me later.

I've now read all of the Ryder Creed series by Alex Kava and loved every one of them. I enjoy her inclusion of the dogs as main characters. Ryder Creed is an interesting and complex protagonist but his sister, Brodie, when she finally shows up, is even more so. The supporting characters add humor and intrigue as well. The stories include some disgusting crimes that will have you rooting for the dogs to solve. It's a fun series and an easy read.

Lots of action in this book. I'm not going to go over what the story is about, except to say that it involves one very creepy dude. I didn't care for how Creed and Maggie are still lollygagging on about how they feel about each other. I wish they'd either do something or just forget about it altogether. I did like that Brodie is discovering more of the comforting and happy things in her life now, and she's finding things that she might be good at doing with her future. The people around her need to remember that she isn't 11 years old anymore and that she's a survivor. It’s really interesting to watch her grow since she escaped her captors. I think she's becoming one of my favorite characters in this series...other than the dogs, of course. Love the dogs. I will continue on with the next book.

Non stop action believable characters and vivid descriptions of the Florida woods. A mystery that unfolds just fast enough to keep the reader hooked. Author does her homework and obviously very knowledgeable about dog rescue work

I just finished book 6 in the Ryder Creed series and bought the next two books. I love seeing the characters develop more and more in each book.Dogs!! Who doesn’t love a book with dogs! Grace, Scout, Bolo, and the others. Would love to have more dogs involved with Ryder in other books. It’s fascinating what scent dogs can do. Thanks Alex for doing all the research!Oh, and mystery! Each book has me guessing and I’m always surprised!

Loved the story line and characters. Edge of your seat suspense, real life issues and incredible dogs made this a great read. I plan on looking up other books in this series. Well done Alex Kava!!

I am hooked on all of the books by Alex Kava and particularly on the Maggie O’Dell and Ryder Creed characters.I have read just about everything she has written and am on book 8 of the Ryder Creed series. This book in the series is just as gripping as the rest. Keeps you hungry to keep reading until the very end and leaves you wanting more, as do all of her books. Won’t spoil the story in my comments but all I can say is that once you start you won’t be able or want to put it down. You won’t be disappointed. I would recommend reading the books in order if at all possiblefor the most enjoyment and immersion as they are action packed.

j'ai lu tant bien que mal en anglais tous les romans de Creed et je les ai tous beaucoup aimes. Dans chaque histoire ,les relations entre personnages évoluent et chaque histoire permet d'approfondir un personnage. Ici, c'est Brodie qui se révèle plus forte et plus intuitive et mature que Creed ne la voit. Jason est un atout essentiel de l'équipe .La famille chien est toujours aussi fantastique et on accueille un nouveau venu. Cette histoire, je l'ai dévorée en quelques heures comme les autres et j' attends avec impatience septembre pour lire le nouvel opus que j'ai déjà précommandé. Votre amour et connaissance des chiens est tellement instructif réconfortant et optimiste vu le nombre d'abandons records en France. Vos livres sont un baume au cœur et une réjouissance, Continuez cette série car vous êtes un remède contre la morosité ambiante!

Love this author. Fast paced with a twist here and there with great plots and interesting characters. Really enjoy how the dogs are also intertwined as heroes too with their amazing sensory skills and as man's best friend. Can't wait for the next one!

I love Alex Kava as a writer - especially the Maggie O Dell and Ryder Creed characters. Can't wait for the next one.
