these safety lancets sre worth the extra money to me. The orange (only size available on Amazon) are fine but unless you have really poor peripheral circulation they do the job and give you a drop of blood that is easily used by most glucometers.There is no exposed sharp to be an infectious danger and they are very easy to use. Prepare the site as you do and simply press the device firmly and you're done. I love these for that reason alone. No danger of resticking yourself as you dispose of them (see local regulations)

I've used other brands but like these the best for testing my own inr at home as I have two inr meters. It would be nice if they came in the blue case they have pictured in the description page they are advertised in but I think it would cost more then also.

It works for what I need it for

These are the best! Easier than the lancet you have to insert in the machine. The risk of sticking yourself is lessened because you never see the needle and it retracts immediately. Great for healthcare and I have even had my office make a purchase for employees to use on patients. Inexpensive compared to drug store or medical supply stores.

Blood testing.

They're okay, but they kind of hurt to use more than other lancets.

These lancets are the best. They do not hurt when you prick you finger with them. I highly recommend them.
