this is for start up psu for water cooling pump for put in new water coolant and bleed out bubble

Since this requires your 24-Pin ATX connector you'll need to get power for your PWM pump from something other than the motherboard. Any Molex or SATA to fan adapter cable should work.

Q: Does this item have a resistor inside it or is it literally just a wire connecting the 2 pins?

Granted it is pretty much a wire connecting the two but this is way safer because it covers up all the other pins. It’s all one plug. A nice cheap product to keep on hand.
