Lifesaver!
Our Brother printer is 8 years old and it was still using the original drum. I knew it was likely nearing the time for replacement. I found and purchased this through Amazon Warehouse just in case. Without warning or printer errors, the printer started printing entirely black pages. I replaced the drum and the issue was immediately resolved. Couldn't be happier.

This was a very low stress replacement decision for a Brother MFC-8810DW. I knew that Brother would stand behind it if it didn't work.Removed the old unit, removed the toner cartridge, popped the toner cartridge into the new drum unit, then slipped them both into the printer. Cleaned the corona wire with the slider, making sure to park the slider fully to the side. Fired it up -- the first few pages through the printer, the toner wasn't super well fused, but by 10 pages, everything was looking and feeling very fine indeed.

Failed after approx. 7 days of use
purchase drum unit for my brother printer, it worked fine for approx. 7 days then completely stopped working. I do not recommend this vendor.

Drum replacement part works as expected.
Printer drums have to replaced eventually. This is the first time after many years of use that the drum wore out. New drum was correct one and easy to install. Neither the instructions accompanying the drum or the original book that came with the printer would allow me to reset the counter. I'm hoping that won't be an issue. After a few test printed pages, it seems to be working normally. The shipping arrived in about 4 or 5 days as expected, via USPS. Price of item was a bit better than other venues, and better than brick shops.
