IMPOSSIBLE TO SLIDE IN / OUT THE ORANGE CLOSURE LID !I consider shipping it back but I'm already outside the US so I have to consider shipment costs.Also - the dust protective lid does not firmly close...Cleaning is indeed easier but it's a real fuss to fill it up.... 8-(

I'd like to start by saying the product seems masterfully crafted. Sturdy, that's for sure. The neoprene hose looks really high quality, and all the fail-safe mechanisms are a fantastic add-on. Also easy to note this is one of the only high quality 3L/100 oz bladders I found on Amazon, so kudos to Aquedook for thinking outside the box.I'm going to attempt to return the item, however. I am not sure if mine is defective, but the latching mechanism just will not slide off. That orange bit on the stop, for those of you considering buying, is supposed to slide to the side and allow you full access into the bladder (which is great for cleaning/refilling, unlike most water bladders that have nothing but a small opening, making them especially hard to clean). I've seen reviews that indicate this mechanism is TOUGH, and difficult to operate, but I have tried everything with mine and it simply won't slide off, as if it was pressure sealed.Anyway, hopefully I'll manage to get a refund for it. Otherwise, the product looked amazing, even above my expectations. It's a shame I didn't get to try it.

It is very difficult to open at first but once open if you slide it on and off a few times it gets way better

This hydration pack, however, is very durable, capable, and easy to use! The valve system allows us to easily utilize an in-line filter and is very comfortable to drink from!

When it arrived it was almost impossible to get the top off to add water. It is very hard to actually get water through the mouth piece it pulls air when you try to drink.The mouth piece can also fall off easily.I do not recommend this to anyone.

CAUTION! The orange clip is EXTREMELY hard to remove! It took two sets of large pliers to get it off the first time. The manufacturer should remedy this problem. Even after the first time it gets removed it is NOT EASY to put back on! :-(Otherwise it is a pretty good bladder.

This is the nicest with the most options and least expensive water bladder I have purchased.I really like the fact that the bladder opens up completely at the top. This allow for easy access to fill and clean it.My other water bladder required me to use a baby bottle brush to clean it; it was tedious and time consuming. It was infuriating at times.I really like the fact that the water tube is insulated; this not only protects it, but also keeps the water cooler in the waterline.I mountain bike a lot on dirt trails and the mouthpiece cover keeps all the dust and debris off the mouthpiece.I really wanted to give this a 5 star rating. Unfortunately I am having an issue. That issue is the orange plastic slide-on seal at the top of the bladder. It is extremely hard to slide it onto the bladder and into place. I am sure the reason it’s hard to slide on is because it needs a tight fit to seal and keep it from leaking.Please see my pictures of me swapping out the old bladder for this new one.

Bought this as my first hydration bladder and tried it out this past weekend. I like the design and quality of this bladder. It feels sturdy, not like it will tear at any moment. The plastic clip to close it is very secure and so is the nozzle to drink from. I have not had any leaks. I would buy it again if I lose my current one or need another.
