Mary Gatskill is such a wonderful writer, you wishthe book was more than a novelette. But the story comes to a logical close, the lost cat being a touching allegory for “lost” children.

Depressing but still a great read

This was a tough read at times and somewhat depressing but at the same time brilliant. So hoped the cat would be found
