Update: I never heard back from the manufacturer, but the seller Elecmie responded quickly after this review was posted. They apologized and offered a full refund for the battery. I can't ask for more than that from any seller. I won't buy this brand of battery again, but I would feel very comfortable buying other products from Elecmie. Thank you!I can't find a way to contact the seller Elecmie with this problem, so have to record it here. I tried to contact the manufacturer and they haven't bothered to respond. After inserting this battery in my Dell laptop, the system started to bog down after a few days. I didn't think about the new battery. Then the activity light started flashing orange, indicating a battery problem. Unfortunately, it was beyond the return for refund date. I sent this info to the manufacturer listed in the booklet that came in the box with the battery. No response from them. Fortunately, I had saved the original old battery and was able to put that back in. The problems cleared up immediately. I'd like to return this battery and get a refund as I wouldn't trust putting it back in any of my equipment. But, no response so far.

I never really used this computer on battery alone, just left it plugged in using the battery as a backup for the occasional power glitches we have. I noticed my laptop light blinking and a dead battery warning. If I take the battery out and replace it it acts like it's going to start charging then a within a minute or so, the light begins to flash. 3 stars for complete failure.
