Luggage Designed for the Kind of World We Live In (It's got Kelvar)
This is definitely the most unusual high end piece of luggage that I've ever run across. It doesn't look like anything that you purchase and a luggage store or one of the big membership chains. And in fact upon first glance it's tempting to just dismiss it asβ¦a big backpack. But in reality it's anything but that. It really is a high-end Security optimized luggage which, once you drill deep into its features, you wonder if it was designed by M for James Bond 007.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Here's a rundown of what I consider to be the standout features of this remarkable piece of luggage:----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------β First of all, as you would expect with a backpack style suitcase, by itself it is rather light weight, even though it includes wheels. The handle is easily extended and contract.β It holds as much as any of the larger full-size luggage pieces that we have which there's no avoiding checking in when you go on a flight.β And now, here where things get really interesting. Apparently there is a layer of Kelvar that resist a wide range of different exploits that one might use to open this bag. Given that Kelvar is used in bulletproof vest, we can reason that, someone trying to slash your bag is going to run into some frustration. I don't know what grade of Kelvar, nor do we know how extensive the coverage is. Nevertheless, I would anticipate that this is a definite deterrent.β It also has a system, for attaching a case to a stationary object such as a post in an airport, or a seat in the waiting area of the boarding gate you're in. I consider this quite an amazing feature, as there have been many times that I would love to go to the bathroom without having to lug my big luggage piece with me. While I will always ask a friendly fellow passenger to look after my stuff, I really would not have much of a worry that anything will happen even if he or she is somewhat negligent.β As far as all the conventional attributes of a luggage piece are concerned, this definitely holds the contents that you would carry on a European vacation. But here you have the added benefit of stowing away all your stuff in a miniature fortress.Any drawbacks?Well the looks of this thing, are an acquired taste. This is not Gucci and will not win any awards advancing your quest to look stylish and fashionable. But you can maintain an inner smile, knowing that you have the advantage in terms of security.Got this at no cost for unbiased review.β PositiveLogic

It holds all my camping gear well but, itβs missing front, security straps in order, preventing the items stored via the front compartment from jostling.

Safest Luggage on the Market
This is pretty amazing luggage-- great for long trips. Everything on it works smoothly and easily:-The handle pops up and down just as it should and makes it easy to wheel the luggage around.-The combination locks click in easily and work well. It takes a little practice to get the two zippers lined up right to click them both in at once, but not a big deal. You won't have to worry about padlocks or keys-- this is integrated, with a TSA-approved keyhole-The retractable cable lock is really cool. It pulls out easily and retracts well, and is concealed under a Velcroed pouch when not in use. It has its own combination lock, separate from the main one.-I'm only 5'3" and I thought it would be ridiculous to even try using the backpack functionality on this, but I was shocked to find that I can-- at least for a little while. The straps are well padded and weight is evenly distributed, with lumbar support and an airflow system. The straps are also highly adjustable.-Wheels are hard plastic and turn smoothly.-The handle does take up space in the main compartment, but it's still a very roomy bag.-There are several zippered compartments and elastic pouches for various storage needs inside and outside the pack, from a padded laptop compartment to mesh water bottle pouches. The only downside I've found is that it tends to tip far foward, though it doesn't fall over easily. It just looks odd (whether empty or filled). And there's no plastic structure in it like normal luggage-- it's more of a cross between a backpack/duffel bag and luggage, which you may see as a positive or negative. It also takes some time to unlock/unclasp everything to open and close the bag each time.Obviously, the main selling points here are the safety features, and they're amazing. They really seem to have it all covered, from the fabric itself to the zipper materials and the locks.I received this for review.
