I was on the fence due to cost. However elk hunts in Utah and New Mexico made me a believer. Easy break in, great comfort, 6 miles in New boots=no blisters or hot spots. Water resistant, quick dry, perfect in all conditions. Good stiff sole for mountains. Great boot and will wear these for a long time and buy another pair when the time comes. Would suggest buying a half size larger, I'm normally an 11 and got the 11.5 and they are perfect. They are a little heavy but expected.

I am a fishing guide in NWT in Canada. I have been using Salomon GTX 4 which performed well. I decided to try Lowa I will come back to you after next summer to give you a better review of how they performed so far they fit well I am a 91/2 US and I order a size 10 US and I used merino wool socks and the fit is perfect. Very well made can,t wait to try them later next summer.

Achat pour un membre de la famille qui fait beaucoup de randonnées, chaussures bien en cuir qui coûtent assez chères mais qui seront largement amorties dans le temps ! Ensuite, il est vraiment impératif de bien entretenir les chaussures afin qu'elles puissent durer dans le temps, c'est bien spécifié mais c'est très important sinon risque de fissures du cuir par exemple sil le cuir n'est pas entretenu ! Un "investissement" pour des amateurs de randonnées et marches régulières, très confortables !

I had to change the insoles to make them more comfortable under the ball of my feet but otherwise they fit good.Good quality and excellent support for off-trail travel.I like the leather lining; no blisters.I wear them for work (size 10.5) in the bush but the Tibet GTX WXL (size 10) fit me better and I prefer those for hunting and hiking when I cover many miles in a day.Both are very sturdy for off-trail travel and both are good quality.I've worn these everyday at work (in the forest) for a few weeks now and I'm happy with their support and quality.I have highly recommended these for friends with regular width feet and the Tibet GTX WXL-Wide for wider feet.I a perfect world these (the LL) would come in a wide model.They're both somewhat expensive but they're both good quality and I expect they'll last for years.

Dies ist mein dritter (nicht wegen der schlechten Lebensdauer, sondern ich wandere schon seit 30 Jahren) Wanderschuh von Lowa, ich hatte immer die Leder gefütterten und bin restlos begeistert. Im Sommer auch bei 35 Grad angenehm und im Winter warme Füße. Druckstellen oder Blasen nicht einmal während des Einlaufens...Dieses Modell LL hat keine Ösen im vorderen Fuß und ist insgesamt deutlich leichter, aber stabil und vor allem im Knöchelbereich gut stützend.Absolut empfehlenswert auch für Spaziergänge zu Hause im Flachland, man geht sicher und diese Schuhe sind bei norddeutschem Schietwetter unempfindlich. Normalerweise habe ich Schuhgröße 39, aber eine halbe oder ganze Nummer größer ist der Schuh immer noch gut in der Passform, bietet außerdem Platz für dickere Socken oder lose Einlagen.
