1" bypass valve for Fleck control heads 5600, 2510, 9100, 9000

It has a slightly larger opening than the 3/4” valve but not by much. I wish fleck would go to a similar style as clack has. The connections are too close together to easily assemble with 90° elbows. The biggest flaw is the design. It says it has a 1” opening but you actually only get about 30% of that 1” opening. I suppose that is better than 30% of a 3/4” valve. Fleck needs to step up their game on these valves. Other than that, it is a well built valve. I may try to find another option if I ever have to replace it.

Wrote review for company selling as well as here. This product looks well made and installed without issues, but I didn't like the design because it has a pinch point that reduces flow a fair amount and don't consider it a good design compared to standard ball valve. I would not buy it again and would rather have two ball valves and joiner pipe with nearly full flow than the restricted flow this one provides. Realize if you are on well pump with only 60 psi this valve will nearly half your flow which could be critical if you need it for some reason! Would not recommend this product.

Completely Useless. There is NO Flow with this valve. It took 5 minuets for my toilet to fill up it is a 1" connection but the water entrance going through is maybe 1/8 inch. See Attached photo YES that is completely open you can almost see light through it! . I thought it would be better quality then the plastic valve but it was just a waste of money.

I liked the fast delivery. I find your request to rate the feature of 'sheerness' and 'thickness' on a score of 1 to 5 nothing short of weird and strange. Can you explain in quantitative terms how to rate 'sheerness' and 'thickness' on a Fleck 5600 SS bypass valve? Thick where ? and in which dimension. How does one rate sheerness for sandcast and machined stainless steel fitting.

I'm really not too sure about this valve. As you can see from the other reviews, even with a 1" opening there isn't much room for the water to flow. I already plumbed a bypass for my tank but the Fleck 5600 doesn't have threaded fittings which forces you to purchase this valve. The only hope with this thing is that when the valve is open the rubber has some flex to it and I'm hoping the size of the opening expands a bit more when under pressure.
