Barbra Streisand in New York City: A Self Guided Tour of Landmark Locations in the Career of Barbra Streisand

For anyone who has read Streisands biographies and not seen the original places she started at and attended, this is a must.....some of the fotos could be a little better printed but is does give you a better idea of the places mentioned about and shows you that they weren't as glamourous as they originally sounded....which can be quite a surprise for anyone who thought that all her original clubs were top Hollywood and New York settings.....

Super little book. Some great information regarding Barbra's early life in NYC, the pictures are obviously personal pictures by the author, and would not pass Barbra's strict quality control (lol) but the book would be handy when walking around the city. On the whole, thanks to the author for this little gem of a book.

I just have to get to New York. The photos of this book are wonderful. Love, love, love this book and the story it tells. Barbra did not have an easy life as I once thought. She sure deserves the best in this life.now. She paid her dues and keep going. I really admire her now, sure wish I could meet her oneday!Claudia Wirick
