PDSI-130-1240E RV Fresh Water Pump with Power Drive Technology

This was a replacement for a pump that had never worked right and finally gave out completely. We were in a pinch since it happened so close to the opening of the hunt and we had about a week to get it fixed. First of all, I buy all the time from amazon, but this particular item shipped out SO FAST. We received it I think a day before schedule. It wasn't very complicated to remove the old pump and replace it with the new. Once it was in it worked FAR better then the old one, even when the old one had actually worked correctly. My husband had read the reviews and doubted this one would be that much quieter. It was/is. Even he is impressed. Although I hope we don't have to replace another water pump anytime soon, if i did, i would definitely buy this one again.

Just received this RV water pump. As soon as I opened it I could tell this was a used/returned pump. There is black tape residue on the wiring and a sticker on the front of the pump has been partially removed indicating to me that the previous owner had been trying to adjust the pump cycling. I'm going to try the pump anyway but I expect a cost reduction or a immediate replacement with a pump that is new, unused, not returned.5-9-2016, just received a replacement pump. It was new in the box which stated "new & improved". I installed the pump and it is the quietest, smoothest running pump ever. I have owned several RV's and this is without a doubt the quietest. Slightly more pressure than the original which served us since 2004. I would recommend this pump and thank you Amazon for standing behind me and getting the replacement. Les

Received the new pump and had high hopes for a quiet and forceful pump. But it was not to be. I used this pump to replace the OEM Shurflo Extreme pump that came with my 2006 DRV Elite Suites. The OEM pump was rated at 5.7GPH and at 60PSI. It could handle every spigot in the RV being on and still have super flow. The RV was designed with a manifold in the bay with a separate 1/2" PEX supply line to each outlet for both hot and cold. You could shower with the washer on and never know. This pump just doesn't have the power or the flow to feed everything. The old pump was silent. You could never hear it under any load. The new pump has the good old RV water hammer and it's connected to the same lines as the OEM. Guess I'll have to keep looking since Shurflo no longer makes the 6 chamber Extreme series pumps.

I bought the pump to replace a Shu-Flo 288 in my RV. Wasn't familiar with the Arterra brand, but decided to give it a try. Just installed it today and that part was breeze. Specs as to volts/amps and flow are about equal to the SF. Uses a diaphragm rather than an impeller, so pump can be run dry without damage.Everything is configured same as the Shur-Flo, which I believe was original to the RV. Water lines and fittings lined right up and threaded on.12V feed was just a matter of wire nuts, as was the original. NOTE: the photo shows a strainer on the pump, but there was NO strainer with mine. Not a problem, as the existing strainer threaded right on. The pump worked well, and as others have mentioned it is VERY quiet. Mine is mounted on the floor under a cabinet drawer at my feet as I stand at the sink, and with the drawer out, (the pump in view) the water splashing in the sink was louder than the pump!After a few months of use I'll post an update.

I got this pump for my brother in law's RV his was out so needed a new on we both knew nothing about how to install or if it would even work. It was real easy to install did not even need extra parts just a little Teflon tape. This pump works better then then the one that came with the RV. Great pump for the price.

I replaced the pump 5 month ago. its pretty noisy but it worked. Now 5 Month later (used it only 3 times) pump stopped working. Well Made in China as all al those crappy RV Parts. Don't waste your money. Buy a brand name instead.

This seems to not be as pictured, it's only the pump WITHOUT the strainer/screen filter. You have to find that separately. Would have been good to know before buying.

This was a easy install as far as this part!! My pump is located in a small confined area, which made reaching it difficult. Otherwise the install was super easy! I just unhooked the old one and placed this one in and everything worked once again! So thankful for this.

Was replacement that fits and works great, although does not come as shown but I expected that from the comments

Pump arrived very quickly. Easy to install and hook up. So quiet that you can't even hear when it is on. Installed on my boat, and only comes on when tap is turned on. Very pleased with this pump.

The pump is too noisy and weak.

installed this pump as a maintenance upgrade. it lasted 2 days before it blew the seals out and flooded my trailer
