Plateau Newport 62 W Corner Wood TV Stand, 62-Inch, Walnut Finish

I liked about products thickness, color, looks, and ready for heavy duty as TV stand.I did not like catalogs installation descriptions. It was hard to understand how to install. Some screws and hole for it was not aligned properly. Very hard to adjust it.Finally last two small glass doors could not able to install at all. Spent the most time for it. Unable to align . That’s all. I was expecting all parts should be able to install as pictures says.But overall when I put the 65” curve tv I like it.

The quality of this stand is what i'd expect from something from Wal Mart. Definitely not worth $879.00. The was damage to the bottom of the stand, the hinge holes were on the wrong side of the divider, after adjusting the hinges all the way 2 doors still hit each other, and one cam hole didn't line up. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I called the company directly and was told to take it up with the seller!

Our package arrived somewhat damaged on one end and was heavily taped up. Forunately, none of the wood pieces were damaged, but it turns out that we are completely missing two sets of door hinges. At the moment, we are having to leave the two end doors off. For what this piece cost (about double what I would expect), I was not very impressed with the directions (drawings), the hardware (one door handle is defective) or how the whole thing fit together (especially door alignment). I'd like to obtain some door hinges and another door handle but have not yet decided whether to contact Amazon, Stacks & Stacks in California or Plateau in Canada.

I was skeptical about a unit that needed to be assembled. You will need two people! The basic part was easy to assemble once we got our orientation to the visual directions. We had the base done in about 30 minutes. Then came the door hanging. 2 1/2 hours later, we at least had the doors positioned so all four would open and close. If you have a friend who is adept at hanging cabinet doors, buy him / her a beer and have them help you.
