Carlson Fish Oil Q 100 mg, Omega-3s and CoQ10, 60 Soft Gels

The fish oil supplements are a great source of daily Omega 3 needs. The pills are easy to swallow, while large as are most fish oil pills. Have not noticed any negative side effects. These pills seem to be well made and high quality. Would recommend!

i’m glad i got this omega-3 and coQ10 supplement. it arrived safely sealed, and the expiry date on the bottle is two years away. i ordered these because i’m familiar with the carlson brand and i liked the ingredients. these are large softgels that i have difficulty swallowing, so i chew one and then swallow with water. the taste is slightly fishy, and the mouthfeel is just a little oily, so i find it easily tolerable. i’ve taken this a few times and haven’t noticed any immediate good or bad effects. these were listed for almost $34 for 60 softgels, which seems like a reasonable price.

I am familiar with the Carlson brand and wanted to try the combination of omega 3s with coq10. So far I haven't had any unpleasant side effects or issues. The price was comparable and they arrived with the safety seals intact and no issues.

These combine fish oil with coenzyme Q10, which are both important for heart health. 2 capsules will give you about 1.2g of omega 3's which is a good size but be aware that the maximum recommended daily dose is 1g now because too much omega 3s have been shown to create other heart problems. From what I've read the omega 3s give the heart cells their flexibility but too much can actually be bad.These capsules are a little curious because of their orange coating. They're not clear gold/brown like most fish oil capsules. My guess is that it provides additional UV light blocking which gradually spoils the oil.Calrson has been a good brand in my experience. They're sometimes stocked at Vitamin Shoppe but they're one of the less common brands there.

I’m not sure what the “Q 100 mg” in the product title refers to, because the supplement includes 1200 mg fish oil concentrate and 200 mg CoQ10. The soft gels are large, and you have to take two, but you are receiving two supplements in one. This is plastic neutral product, made in the USA in an FDA registered facility and third party tested, so I appreciate the quality that goes into the product. It doesn’t contain “detrimental” levels of mercury, so that makes me wonder what some of the other brands contain that are made more cheaply.

Good quality fish oil with the same ingredients/concentrations as my doctor prescribed version. Manageable size. Well packaged product.
