I ride every day and these are the best covers out there, they last about a year but that is pretty good with use and beats always having to wear bike shorts. Its not permanent and you can take it with you if you ride stationary at the gym- don't leave it -it will be gone next time you go to the gym. Oh normal bike saddle and I bye the medium-narrow and it works fine.

Great seat cover that lets you keep your standard seat, but add a layer of comfort. A prior review helped me decide to get this one, as it fits nicely around a larger saddle made by Specialized. I also appreciate that it didn't have the straps that other such bike covers had. And if you have second thoughts because a couple of reviews indicated that this slips, I'd say forget those reviews. This stays perfectly in place, and keeps you nice and comfy.My one quibble is that it is not stated to be waterproof. I doubt I will purposefully ride in the rain, but would like to know that it at least has that capability. That might be a good enhancement. As such, I'd probably give it 4.5 as of now, but Amazon doesn't have that option. You can get a rain cover separately. I did, but that is a bit of a hassle.

I am an older bike rider who has been having to stop a lot to rest my bony butt on my rides up City Creek Canyon. It is 5.8 miles and 1300 feet in elevation gain, so it takes some effort. But I love the place. It is just that my butt does not share all my sentiments.I bought another similar Bontranger bike saddle cushioned cover for my Trek DualSport 4 and it is mostly positive. It fits my Bontranger mid size comfort saddle a bit better, but the padding is not as soft, the material is slippery so I tend to ride forward on the saddle, and the price was twice the price of this saddle cover. This saddle cover does not fit quite as well as the matched brand, but it fits just fine, and I like the softer padding better and the less slippery top material much better. This is very good for improving your comfort without buying a heavy, wide saddle and you can take it off if you do not need it on a ride or if it is raining and muddy and you are hatin' life. I am quite pleased with this product.Zero problems with this cover slipping around on the saddle. It is the fit, of course.

The cover seat makes the bike ride more comfortable than the original seat. I purchased the item mainly because of the groove inside the seat that makes it more comfortable. Without the groove, the cover seat would be like any other and would have made riding very uncomfortable due to the seating parts going numb.To make the ride more comfortable, you have to push yourself backward seating on the edge. I would have given it a 5 if the groove part was a bit deeper and wider.

I own a 2016 Trek Domane 6.9 with a Bontrager carbon fiber saddle. I'm also a 61 year old 250 lb. rider. The saddle I have is fine for shorter rides (20-30 miles), but for 50+ mile rides it can be grueling after a time. I bought and returned three different saddles over the past year as none of them really helped. My wife suggested looking at a saddle cover. What? A saddle cover on a pro-level bike?! But I thought, "What the heck?" so I started shopping around. I found this saddle cover on Amazon and read the reviews. I figured how could I go wrong for $14?This saddle cover is amazing! I mean it is just incredible! Yes, it does look a little funky when I'm not riding, but who cares?! It makes half centuries and metric centuries incredibly enjoyable. I recommended one to my friend who is now singing its praises. It fits a narrow pro saddle well, not great, but well. It does take a little getting used to as it raises you maybe 1/4 inch higher, but your sit bones will thank you at mile 50+ and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about this product. If your butt gets sore, buy it!

This is not a good product if you're looking for a comfortable seat cover for an exercise machine, as I was. First of all, it's too small in the larger of the two versions. The padded area measures 9" across the back, making it smaller than the smallest exercise bike seat at our gym. Secondly, instead of having a relief section all the way down the middle as some seats do, this cover is padded at the neck where it fits between the legs. While that might be no problem for women, it puts extra pressure on the male anatomy that's especially uncomfortable if you lean forward while riding.Update ~ After leaving the previous review I was contacted by the seller, who requested additional information for the purpose of possibly modifying their product. I'm enormously impressed by their desire to make product improvements in response to buyer feedback. So I sent them a detailed report on my experience with their product, in part because my circumstances might not be true for many people. Because I like the quality of the product, the way it fits the seat for quick attachment and detachment, the price, and the excellence of their customer service, I offered to "test ride" any product they produced essentially to my specifications. Added one more star for outstanding concern and customer service, with the hope that our interactions will yield another boost in their stars in their future.
