Salt and Pepper Shakers - Salt Shaker - with Adjustable Pour Holes and Matching Holder

This set is very sturdy, the shakers are very secure in the holders. We eat in the living room a lot and leave the salt and pepper shakers in there often so it is nice they do not tip over easily. Also you can close the tops completely when not in use so if they did get tipped over there would not be salt and pepper everywhere. Holds a lot too, so you don't have to fill it very often and unlike some shakers you can see when it is getting low. I do not like shakers that fill from the bottom because it is always clumpsy to fill. These fill from the top and have a wide opening , so less mess.

I have been looking for one shaker to use for my cinnamon and sugar. I love warm toast with a little butter, and sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar. But I could not find anything with fine enough pour holes. These shakers have 3 adjustable pour holes and a closure position. So besides finding the perfect shaker, I also appreciate that it protects from spillage and humidity, etc. It was worth buying the set to get the one I wanted. I would recommend this salt and pepper shakers set.

Appears exactly as pictured. Durable, thick, glass body with plastic lids. Lid rotates to select up to three pour spout options to control flow rate. However, it only successfully rotates in one direction as turning in the opposite direction unscrews the lid completely. This is not a problem once used to it but every guest at our home has commented on this and it took some getting used to. There are no markings on the lid to guide rotation. Stand is sturdy and handy for transporting and storage. Good value for the price. Would probably purchase again.

Great design. Was exactly what I needed.The whole issue with turning the lid off is not as bad as you might think. Especially if you use the flat part of the lid to tighten it up. And once you have the setting you want you don't need to change it for every use. My old shakers did not close. Why do I need to close these ones. I see the adjustment as more of a set it and leave it.Thanks for a great well built product.

Nice Size. Can change to shake, pour or for larger particles, like coarsely ground pepper. Gave it four stars because when changing the type of opening, you have to be careful not to unscrew the top. Also, difficult to wash because you have to let it sit to dry. Overall, good quality. Would buy again.

Good quality for everyday use. They are made of glass and are hefty, but not too heavy so they just feel right in your hands. They have a plastic top so it will not rust, and they have three different sized openings for different spices with a closed position to prevent spilling and to keep moisture out.I used these first two for coarse ground pepper and popcorn salt. I will be getting another pair for coarse sea salt and some other lucky spice.I had never heard of TOMIware before but they will be at the top of my list for anything else I need that they make.

Looks great and of course, is functional.Nice to have the three pouring options.One star taken because you always have to turn the top to the right or the whole lid will come off. Would have been nice to have it lock in place so you could turn the pour/shaker spout in either direction without the top coming off.Otherwise, good job, nice looking product.

While shopping for a salt and pepper shaker, I wanted something versatile, attractive and affordable.This set is all of the above and much more!It holds a reasonable amount without being cumbersome and the 3 dispensing options (super slow, normal and fast) have to be my favorite options since i always struggle with putting too much or not enough spice.Overall is a very solid buy and a nice addition to any kitchen.
