Great shorts. However, the sizing chart is wrong. They run at least one size smaller. So if you think you need a LARGE, order X LARGE.

Do not order whatever size you actually wear. Just don't. Order at least a full size larger. I'm 5'9" and about 230 lbs. I usually get an XL in swim trunks and have room to spare from top to bottom, and in the waist. A comfortable, and relaxed fit, in my opinion. These, not so much. They look great, accurate to the photos. The material feels good, as well. But, the fit leaves a lot to be desired. These felt tight on me. Too tight. More than snug. I'd go at least one size higher than usual with these. Might order some more and update this review since I like the colors so much.

I've been wanting my husband to buy some shorter board shorts. He finally did! He's 6'2", 210. Based on the reviews, he ordered an XL. They fit well, an inch or so above his knees (perhaps just a tad roomy, which he prefers). He says a Large would have been another return. He really likes them...so much so that he ordered another pair in a different print. Huge win for us both!

I wear O'Neill hybrid shorts and I absolutely love them, because they fit very well. I ordered these O'Neill board shorts sized XXL. The fit guide said that the XXL is equivalent to 44 to 46 inches, however these shorts are only a 38 inch waist (I measured them). In short, the fit guide is totally wrong. Lastly, the fabricbelow the waist is very tight and has stretch whatsoever. Even if it fit properly, it would be uncomfortable when moving.

For the price these are outstanding shorts can't wait to hit the St Lucia beaches with these bad boys on
