Easy to use
They worked well for keeping sod in place for the summer.

Great Product, Great Idea
These stakes are a great idea. I purchased them because of an issue we have here at this site with birds pulling-up square patches of sod that we laid-down in areas we had previously excavated. Since they are biodegradable, there is no need to come back months later to remove them. I bought both the 4" and 6" stakes - in some places the ground is just too hard to get a 6" stake to go in, so the shorter ones worked well in those instances. Great product - highly recommend.

Works well
Used for anchoring curlex. Works well overall but had to use more than recommended (shorter spacing between).

Garbage I tell you Garbage
We do everything here organically and liked the thought of biodegradable spikes in our garden area but in less than 24 hours most of the spikes broke and held nothing. We have rich black soil which heats up in the GA sunshine. We were putting 3 foot strips of thick plastic between rows of corn. However, all the progress gained yesterday was lost over night because about 90% of the stakes broke off about an inch below the soil level, thus not holding anything down...

I like the heads on them better than others I have ...
These hold very well. I like the heads on them better than others I have used. They would get five stars but they bend way too easily.

These stakes work!
Very fast shipment and great stakes that work.Saw some other notes about them breaking. For the times when the ground was hard in Texas, I used an old screwdriver to start a pilot hole. Also if you leave them in the sun when working, they tend to bend like taffy. Have used about five boxes of these over the past two years and will be ordering another one.

very weak
being green is a great idea - but you better have loose soil you are driving into. I was breaking over 50% when I finally decided to cut the things in half so it would be sturdy enough to drive into the ground. I wouldn't buy them again.
