Yeah. Not a fan at all. Sorry but I was looking for gel nail polish. This is more like stick rhinestone glue! Definitely not pigmented enough to be considered gel polish.

Poor packaging, okay polish
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Need to know upfrontPros- Includes brush- Nice variety of chunky and fine glitters and colors- Good consistency- CheapCons- Packaging is a major issue: 3 of my 6 pots were open and had leaked gel into the cap (see pic), which another reviewer also had issues with- Included brush does not have an opaque cap (nail art brushes, especially gel, should have a non-seethrough cap to protect them from UV light and for storage)- Small pots (5ml per pot. For reference, a Sally Hansen Insta-Dry polish bottle has 9.17ml), but they are cheap vs. size, which makes senseAdditionals/Personal pref- Instruction booklet & display stickers- I personally don't love pots as you need a nail brush with a solid/opaque cap to apply (this did not play a role in my rating as it's personal pref and I knew these were pots when I ordered)- These are loose glitter suspended in a semi-thick gel (between builder and topcoat viscosity), so do not expect intense coverage with one coat. My swatch sticks are a single coat/layer of the polishes with no base color beneath. You can see how dispersed these glitters are. The seller's product pictures show tightly packed glitter, most likely from many coats, so consider that when purchasing/using.These are okay polishes, nothing super wild, as they are just loose glitter in thin builder gel. There's nothing wrong with that, but do not expect the tightly packed glitter in one coat that you see in the product pictures. You can help trick the eye by matching your base color with the glitter's color to make the glitter appear more densely packed if you are not building a full nail (just putting the polish on the nail). If you are building a nail extension, you would want to put the glitter down after creating the foundation for the nail and before building it up so you can add multiple layers of this polish without bulking your nail out. If you do apply these to the bare nail (or even with a created nail, but you've applied this polishes as your top layer before topcoat), keep in mind that you will have a bumpy surface. The glitters will give your nails dimension and texture, which can be nice or annoying; it depends on what you're going for. This kit comes with a brush, but it does not have an opaque cap. This is a huge problem for gel as it will cure on the brush from UV light if exposed to your lamp or just sunlight. Usually, you would wipe your gel brush off but leave any remaining gel on the brush with the cap on. If you don't have a cap, you need to clean all gel out of your brush completely. Additionally, if there's gel left on your brush and it doesn't cure, it'll get gel on all the other items you store the brush with.Overall, these are okay as glitter polishes. That said, you can make your own polish by getting glitter, a gel or nail lacquer topcoat, and pouring the glitter into that. Personally, I'm not too fond of gel pots because it requires a nail brush and some additional steps vs. a bottled gel with a brush applicator. The packaging is also a big issue. 3 of my 6 pots were open and leaked the gel out, which is needed to keep the pot's correct consistency and suspend the glitter. Another reviewer had the same issue but with more of their pots leaking in the cap and completely out from under the cap. Yes, these are cheap and if you're looking for some cheap glitter, go for it. But the packaging issues have made this a no for me.

So, so messy!
When this polish arrived all the jars and the brush were super sticky. The lids on 2 of the jars had loosened and leaked clear polish...not glitter, just the clear polish that holds the glitter. So right off the bat I had to clean everything. Then, 2 of the remaining 4 jars had protective seals that were crazy hard to remove and I ended up making another sticky mess to clean up before I could even start! The polish itself is thick easy to apply and manipulate with a combination of dabs and brush strokes. My sample swatches are a range of 1-3 coats to show the different coverage options. While I do like the polish, it clearly doesn't look at all like the pix. Getting solid coverage on a white base will take about 5 coats and it doesn't have the jelly look that the pix do. As an accent, light coat, or fade on top of any color, this glitter will be nice. I can't see ever using it for a full glitter effect (which is what I was after). Also, the polish cures nicely and I didn't end up with glitter on my top coat brush...I hate it when that happens! 3 stars because of the mess, because the end result doesn't match the pix, and because I have other polishes that do the same thing, but with their own brushes and no leaky jars.

Beautiful polish! Love the colors and the glitter! HATED the seals!
Okay, I LOVE these polishes but HATED the seals! They come in little pots. The lid screws off and there’s a tinfoil seal on it. There is NO tab to grab to pull it off. The only way to get it off is to try and kind of just start scraping it on the edges, or poke a hole somewhere in the center or near the side and pull it up from there. But, poking a hole in it can allow it to leak out, so you need to be careful you’re not holding it tilted. It WILL spill! Even after you poke a hole and kind of start pulling it off, it’s REALLY on there so it’s so hard to pull off and you have to be careful not to suddenly yank it so it doesn’t spill! It’s really a pain and nerve wracking the entire time worrying about spilling it! It could be remedied with the simple solution of having a pull tab on the seals!Once you get the seals off, the polish is great. They are beautiful colors! It applies easily. It’s a good consistency - not too thick or thin. The glitter applies pretty evenly without any issues. It looks great with just 1 coat. It’s not thin and transparent with just 1 coat, which is great.I like the pots because I can use them for nail art easily and don’t have to worry about where to sit the nail polish brush or putting a little out on a palette.Overall, I think this is a great set. I took a star off for the pain it was to get the seal off, but other than that I think the set is great and definitely recommend!

Had to really cake this on
This feels like clear gel polish and then a bunch of glitter mixed in. I tried all of these on my sample nails and really had to cake it on to get full coverage. I did two coats each. On my own nails, I also had to do teo coats and it was just too thick for my liking. It just felt too messy for my liking. The brush it comes with is pretty nice and I was happy to add it to my brush collection. Overall, the colors are beautiful and you can get a very glittery manicure from these. However, because you really have to "tap" this on to ensure color saturation it becomes a bit too thick. To each there own, just not a fan.

Lots of bling
Amazing how little of this product goes a long way! I use these glitter pots to put a little bling over my base color coat. When you go out into the sunlight, you can’t help but love how sparkly your nails are. The red and iridescent silver are my two favorite colors.
