older toro 22" recycler mower, had for maybe 6 years from new. original cable rusted and broke inside the sleeve, never EVER lubed the cable like i probably should have been. relatively quick replacement and after adjusting for cable length, works like new again.

Toro needs to make it easier to access , wasn't real hard just took a few more minutes to take the old one out .

While it looked like it would just slip into place the lead end, “S” shape doesn’t slip into place as it should. Since its lead I hit it with a torch to heat & bend the shape to get it to fit into place. Waisted half an hour jacking around with that! I’ve run into this before with the other cable from another manufacturer, so be aware!

I put it in, in 10 minuts. Works great.

I purchased this cable for my rear drive lawnmower.It looked the same in the picture and the measurements were very close to what I needed.
