I bought these small round dipping-sauce bowls to mix watercolor washes for pouring techniques. For that, they are wonderful. They hold the right amount of liquid, are easy to clean up, and stack nicely for storage. The porcelain surface handles water well and doesn't stain. Having 12 of them is really useful for premixing a variety of colors. I thought I'd only need 3-4, but surprise, I sometimes use them all.They are also great for holding additional colors that I don't want to keep on my palette but am using on painting. Just squeeze tube paint onto the inside rim, and mix with water to create a wash in the bottom of the dish. If you are considering pouring or mixing dishes for watercolor, I'd highly recommend giving these a try.

These little bowls are some of my most used kitchen tools/dishes. They are great for snacks (like a little bowl of nuts or dried fruit), serving vitamins, or using for dipping sauce. I will often serve my sons syrup for his pancakes in these, because then he feels like he is in control of how much he gets and isn’t constantly asking for more. We use them every single day.

Perfect for what I need them for (prepping spices for cooking). I was a little surprised that they didnt come in their own box, rather they were wrapped up in foam and placed in an Amazon box... not that it matters, but I was just a little surprised and thought it should be mentioned for future buyers. Nothing was broken or chipped and the saucers were exactly as described.

These bowls are very tiny, they hold a little over 2 tablespoons / 1 ounce of liquid. The glazing is smooth and the bowls are thick enough to be sturdy. They washed well in the silverware rack of my dishwasher. And they stack nicely into a 5 inch stack in my cupboard. They work well for small quantities of dipping sauce and for mise en place.

These look great and are the perfect size for soy sauce/dipping sauces for an individual serving. I've had been looking for something like these for a bit and I'm very happy with my purchase. It's hard to find small dishes this size (most are larger, even when looking for "small" dishes). I bet these would be great for small side dishes too.Probably not a great size for any dips (the kind to go with chips/crackers/veggie sticks), though, since each bowl has a very small capacity.

These are easy to clean and store. I find them to be very convenient and present an excellent value. They are perfect for individual sauces or for measured spices & condiments when cooking. People have asked if they are lead free.The product description plainly states that these are BPA, lead and chromium free.

The packaging came apart during transport, but thankfully they were not broken. A tad smaller than I expected, but they will work.
