I purchased this as an extender which it did and it installed with no issues. Wish it had a better interface and I’m a little disappointed at the extenders distance

The media could not be loaded.  I was very surprised with how different WiFi Extender can be. I had already purchased a lower end extender a while back for my personal needs. I have a building about 30 ft from my hone with no internet service out there. This Extender did the trick. The first Extender I bought did not, it would regularly get warm and need to be reset. It also needed to be installed in the furtherest part of my home by the wall nearest to the building.RockSpace AX1800PROS:Construction, it’s very sturdy and solid. It has directional antennas that can be moved in a full range of motion. Setup was a breeze. Even after I unplugged it, it saves all the information you have so it boots right back up. You can see that in real time in the video above. Initial setup took less than 5 minutes using the small guide included. The range is great I’m able to get all but 1 signal bar from the aforementioned outside building. Hindered only by walls and roofs, if it was a straight line it’d be max I’m sure. My signal inside my home is max in each room now. The setup allows the extender to be used 2 different main ways. I’m using it as a basic range extender. Unit has been very reliable and held the signal with no need to reset. The unit does not get hot and unreliable like the other brand I had purchased first.CONS:It’s just a little higher priced than other brands but RockSpace is a reliable brand and you DO get what you pay for. The unit is slightly larger so if space is an issue that could be a con.Overall I’d definitely recommend the RockSpace AX1800. I will be getting rid of my original extender and replacing it with the AX1800!

Solid product. Invested in one as trial run. Owned now for almost a month and it really gets the job done. Did so well, purchased a second one for my FireTv Max 4K and you can tell the difference. Smooth streaming throughout my home.

I used to have the Rockspace 1200Mbps (AC 1200) WiFi Repeater. It worked really well! So well that I ordered a second one. We’re in a three story house with a long foot print, and our modem/router is located at one end of the house. With one range extender upstairs and another at the opposite end of the main floor, our signal was outstanding throughout the entire house (basement included)! When we upgraded to the Comcast Xfinity Modem/Router on WiFi 6, our extenders were no longer compatible. I was happy to hear that Rockspace had a new product that would communicate with the new modem. These units are very simple to set up and the signal is great, the two most important (and really only) requirements I’m looking for in a range extender. I will say that these are bulkier than the old units and bigger than I would like, but it seems like comparable products are of similar size. Highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded.  I have bought a few items from rock space and they continue to impress me. Packaging was superb with no wear or tear to the outside or inside. Unboxing was real easy as everything was in its own spot and there is only a few pieces to this product. Directions are very specific but simple so I had the product up and running in just a few minutes. They provide 2 methods of setting up but the first worked fine for me. As a result of this installation my internet speed went from 3 bars all the way to 5 bars in my office, which is incredible! And my download upload speed improved by 30-40% but that probably varies. All and all, another great product from rock space!

If you’re looking for an extender, the ax1800 is your answer. Due to my home construction, I had a dead spot and my downloads were taking too long. After configuring my ax1800 extender, I noticed a remarkable difference and now there are no dead spots. Configuring the extender took little to no time and if you need a hand, the technical support is always helpful ( only needed one call ). Price wise, this extender is priced very competitively against the other brands that I researched.

WiFi signal could be a bit stronger for the money. Whether we are running 1 device or 6, we still lose connection sometimes (several times a day). We watch our router when this happens, and the router is not the problem. I’m a little disappointed.

We have a duplex, with the router in the basement and our bedroom on the top floor, which causes issues with the wifi reaching. We bought this to go in the upstairs hallway and now no more problems! It makes a whole other wifi name (same thing except with an E at the end), so you’ll have to connect your devices to that Wi-Fi instead of your normal one. Otherwise that’s it!
