Thoughtfully designed!
I ordered a number of cat bags/backpacks for recent airline travel with one of my cats.I chose to keep this one out of all the others because:- It is SO comfortable to wear (padded shoulder straps)- Allows the pet to be comfortable if the bag is sitting upright or with the straps against the floor (as it needs to be to fit under a plane seat- Has 2 access points (top and little on on side)- Has the little "vestibule" (not sure if I will use this in the future, but it is a unique feature)- Has a handle on top of bag to carry instead of wearing- Has little holes to give a treat or touch without zipping bag open- Has just the right amount of mesh so that the pet doesn't feel too exposed (like those plastic bubbles...)- It is on the smaller side so would be more cozy for a larger cat, but doable. The one I brought is 5.5 lbs so she had PLENTY of room. 8-10 lbs is reasonable. More than 10 lbs may be a bit snug.It worked wonderfully for our trip!In fact, she also used it as her bed while we were away! (laying it down with the straps to the floor and the top secured open)Overall, this is a thoughtfully designed and quality made bag. Can't recommend it enough!

Stealth (for black cats anyway)
I have a black kitten. When she is inside this backpack, you mostly can't see her! I've taken her into several places where it would at least be weird to have a cat, and nobody has noticed her. In the pictures, she's in her white bed, which is why you can see her. This catpack (as we call it) is great for her. We leave it open and she uses it as a tunnel. I put her bed in it and she sleeps in it. I took her to the vet and even they loved it! She finds it very safe - it was her place of choice to hang out after she got some shots and didn't feel well. In the pictures she is 4 lbs.The backpack is comfortable for me, too. There are several li/le features:2 larger holes through which you can put treatsA clip for a harness or collarStraps with nice clips to hold the pack open on the front and back doorsA wall that protects the back pop-out section that folds down to become a floor In summary, with all the drama I have heard about cat carriers, my kitten loves this thing!! She thinks it's her place! It is convenient and sturdy and holds a bed. I would absolutely buy it again.

Pushing the limits
Great quality backpack straight out of the box but wary of how long that will last. There are many flexible pieces so over time I feel it would lose its form especially for the extended room section it’s already starting to slump a little. The main dome door has two zippers so you can zip open a little hole for your cat to pop their head out so that’s nice. I’m not giving 5 stars yet because of 3 reasons, one being that my cat is on the heavier side being 12 lbs but not exceeding the recommended weight limit of 14 lbs and he’s also a very long cat so it’s kind of squished for him in there unless the extra section is open, two being that there is no waste buckle to hold the weight of my cat on my back so it definitely will get uncomfortable over time, and three being that the board for the platform of the main section is a piece of thin wood and it likes to sneak through where there’s very little cushion and push into my back so that’s disappointing but it’s nothing I can’t Jimmy rig. I’ll be updating this review after I’ve walked around my neighborhood a couple times with it.

Very good for car rides and moving cat!
This back pack is perfect. My cat is around 12 lbs and is a very tall and long cat. Yes when the extended area is folded up he doesn’t have a ton of room, but I never really intended to use it just in that configuration. I needed something I could carry easily (on my back) when I walk to and from my car as I am in college and take him home for breaks. Once we get to the car I reach my hand in and unzip the inner flap and the outer one to extend it so he is comfy in the car. He really hates the car but this allowed him to have more space than the pervious carrier and I think will be easier to train with to help him not hate the car. He sits in it when it’s just laying out so that is a good sign. The main back pack area is very rigid and sturdy. The extended area is floppy and kinda sinks in but that’s what all soft carriers do. Good ventilation as well.

Perfect for traveling
We travel a lot, just day to day or across the town or even the state. The cat is a very adventurous one so she loves to go out. The bag is discreet enough that people do not immediately know it’s a cat but also she can look out. Also when it’s time to just relax for a bit the pop out area gives her plenty of room to roam or stretch. It’s a really good bag! If you are thinking about buying one get it

My cats love the backpack
My cats love this backpack, and I like it too. It’s stylish, and you can take the cat anywhere in it. I usually leave the backpack out at home because my cats like sleeping and playing in it.One cool feature is that the back opens up, and you can extend the backpack with the mesh part to create more space for them when you’re out. It also has a few storage pockets too.

Easy carrier
Nice little carrier for your cat and rather inexpensive. You have to have a smaller to average size kitty. My calico is a little female at 6 mos and the black one is a full sized 4 year old boy. She is like 5lbs and he's 11lbs ish. The straps are comfortable and there is even a leash to further secure your cat.Not too bad for what I wanted it and that was just to transport my cat to and from places.

Folds Flat But Doesn’t Hold Shape When Open
I really like how this bag fully disassembles and folds flat. I have a different carrier with a plastic dome and it doesn’t fold up so it’s hard to store. Though this one folds up nicely, the expandable back portion does NOT hold its shape when open and just collapses on your pet. It’s totally useless as an expansion.
