stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner | Long-Lasting Color Wear, Smooth Glide Eyeliner Pencil or Eyeshadow

I love this brand, and am disappointed to see they are discontinuing their full line of colors - or at least I can't find them in stock when I click on them. I use this to line my upper lid just under the lashes, and it always goes on smoothly. Because it comes in a plastic dispenser, it never scratches my eye the way wooden eyeliner pencils do. It stays put all day, and comes off with eye makeup remover easily at night. I'm so glad I found this brand, its what I've been looking for for ages.

This eyeliner is the only one I have found so far that stays put. I have tried a bunch of them and with Stila I don’t end up looking like a ghoul. This staying power is consistent across all the stila eye liners. Also good color choices (many subtle differences over broad range).

Love this . Usually buy it at Ulta but they were out. Goes on so smooth and doesn’t pull or feel like you are scratching your eyelid. Stays on even if you touch your eye like I do .

The Stila Smudge Sticks are one of my favorite eye liners. They come in lots of great colors. I've been wanting to try (but haven't been brave enough yet!) a couple of their brighter colors like the Purple Tang or the Deep Fuchsia but so far have only purchased the Damsel, Stingray, Metallic Umber, and Alpine -- some purchased from Amazon and some from a brick-and-mortar store (Ulta).The liner is easy to use and really does last better than most other liners that I've used. I'd doubted that the fact of it being waterproof would really help it to last on my eyes. I was afraid that the "waterproof-iness" of it would only be affected by things like actual water--tears and rain and such--but that the liner would still disappear over the course of the day due to skin oils and the oils in my eye cream. But, most days, my liner still looks the same in the evening as it does in the morning--and I can't say that about most roll-up stick liners that I've used. On days that I know that I'll be in the hot outdoors for extended periods, I'll add a bit of eye primer first to help keep both my liner and my eye shadow from disappearing. But it's usually not necessary for this liner.The pigment stick twists up as you use it and need more. So far, out of the many Stila liner pens I've purchased, I've only encountered one recalcitrant pen that didn't want to twist up more liner. I held the pen with the open liner "tip down" and flicked it with my finger a few times mid-way on the pen, while twisting the pen to extrude more liner. It finally started working again.Of the four colors that I've purchased so far, my very favorite is the Metallic Umber, with Damsel being a close second. They're my go-to, everyday liners. The umber isn't overly dark and it's also just barely metallic. Since I have pale blonde hair, I feel that the Damsel is a better choice for me as a dark liner than the Stingray, although I have used the glossy black Stingray for some evenings when I wanted more drama. I bought the pearly Alpine to use on my waterline but I don't use it all that often.

When I find a color eyeliner I like I keep buying it and that is the case with this one. I wear it almost daily and really like it, although I wish it was more oil resistant. I run a bit oily and definitely find that by mid day my 1/2 my eye liner has dissolved due to oily lids. Price is pretty average. Wish it lasted a bit longer!

45 minutes into putting this product on and heading out to the store, my eyeliner was smudging up my eyelids like as seen in my picture. And there is no way it’s water proof because I could lick my finger and take it right off (the stuff that smudged up my eyelid)

Not sticky at all. Goes on easy and waterproof

Product goes on great and is easy to smudge but it’s definitely not waterproof.It is semi long wearing if you don’t touch it or sweat.It doesn’t melt down your face as bad as other brands either..When you line your upper waterline,there is some transfer but it’s not bad.If I use setting spray it seems to last a little longer,but after 6-8 hours I need a touch it up.It’s not bad, it’s a little expensive but I haven’t found anything better yet.Probably won’t purchase again,but it wasn’t bad,better than most I’ve purchased lately..

I love this. I have greasy skin yet this lasts all day. It's so easy to apply. It's my go to eye pencil now!

Habe mir den Stift aufgrund einer guten YouTube-Rezension gekauft. Er hält gar nicht und macht fiese Pandaaugen. Empfehle stattdessen die Stifte von HausLabiratories. Die halten wie Bombe und außerdem tolle Farben!

I am very disappointed with Espresso colour. It doesn’t go on smoothly. It is hard and colour is very pale brown. I would not recommend this colour to anyone.

I like that once set, this stays in place all day, but you can blend or smudge it initially to get your desired look. Slight downside: as it is self sharpening (winds up) , I'm not going to know when it's near the end. When I wind it out to expose more , it's slow to move, so I'm not sure if that's just a one-off issue, or how the product usually behaves.
