This is the bag I was looking for (but not the droid).
I have tried multiple bags, trying to get my large screen (17.3") laptop to fit inside. It's been incredibly frustrating but my patience, perseverance, and judicious product testing is finally paying off. This bag is nearly everything I want. It is a very nice box on wheels (with a couple of [mostly unused] front pockets for pens and such). The only thing it lacks is 360° wheels but that concern has become less pressing for me as my standard classroom configuration has changed.

A little tipsy
This is a good sized case, especially if you have a large laptop like I do. However, it is a but unbalanced and has a tendency to tip forward...even though the majority of the weight is in the back of the case.

Well Made, Holding Up Well after Two Months
I'm a retired computer scientist who now visits area schools to tell kids why they should learn to understand and create computer technology in addition to just using it. I take a laptop, a variety of cables to connect to different projectors, some university swag for the kids, and sometimes handouts. I had previously used a traditional catalog case, and it was stretching my arm!I've had the Alpine Swiss case almost two months now, and it is holding up well to heavy use. Rolling is a lot easier than carrying. I like the laptop sleeve. I wish the wheels were a little bigger because it's hard to roll the tiny wheels over obstructions; you have to pull rather than push. I haven't used the other compartments because I don't need them. I wish there were an elastic loop for a water bottle. I'd put my stainless mug of professor fuel (high-test black coffee) there.

Alpine Swiss sold me a defective product
The case was great until the seam on the front flap began to separate. A seam is a manufacturing defect, but since it happened a month after the "Limited Warrantee," ran out they refuse to replace or even repair it They agreed to sell me a new case for 3 dollars MORE than I paid for the first, defective one, they sold me.

Great bag, except it's need to fall forward from time to time.
As far as room and fit go, it's great. I didn't want a backpack for a work bag, but something that opened up for a better view of the contents. Like everyone else, I have issues with it falling forward, usually when I already have my hands full (HA!). I'm not sure if that's a fixable solution, but it can be a hindrance. Otherwise, it's a great bag. Great quality and I hope to get many years out of it.

Lighter than indicated.
Got it for my wife who is a cosmetic sales rep, we were looking for light weight case, most all are about the same weight 9-10 pounds. This feels lighter than the weight indicated for it. You can pull out the dividers and my wife is able to place the ought sized boxes in it without a problem. The quality seems good, the outside is made out of nylon. I did not give it five stars only because we have run it through paces yet, so don't how well it stand up, but does look n feel like it will.

Sorry I didn't know about this rolling Briefcase sooner!
I cannot emphasize how much I like this briefcase. I have been looking for one that's roomy, stylish, useful storage areas and durable, and this is it! When money allows, I am definitely going to get another one for backup because we never know when something becomes unavailable. It's great that I get compliments on it, but most of all - I love it! Thanks, Alpine Swiss for making this briefcase!

Great roller case for binders
I got this case to hold three 2.5 inch binders and other folders as my organizations secretary. It works great, plenty of room and it is easy to maneuver. Glad I purchased it.
