My 99-year-young adopted Aunt Sylvia and I use a cribbage board to track scores when we play dominoes...one move on the cribbage board for every five points scored in dominoes. She had a wonderful set of dominoes that came in a lovely wooden box with a cribbage board on its top which she took with her when she moved. I bought a crobbage board locally, and was disappointed in it. It was not the standard 60-point length and the pegs didn't feel right. I was mostly very happy with the board I got from you. The board itself is attractive, and has the standard 60-point layout. I like that it also has a starting row where pegs can be placed without seeming to be in the scoring tracks on the board. The larger metal pegs are easier to pick up and move than the little wooden pegs on Sylvia's old set. I have large thumbs and would've been somewhat happier with a bit wider board and more room between the tracks. My only real complaint with this cribbage board is about the little storage hole on the back of the board to keep the pegs in. The hole is the perfect size for the pegs, but the metal strip that acts as a sliding cover for this hole is too thin. It slides out on its own, dumping any unused pegs out of storage. I would not feel safe traveling with this board because the pegs will likely fall out. Because of this, would also be less likely to consider it for a gift.

Received the board today. It is very pretty and will be a good starter board for learning to play.The dark wood is nice and smooth. The inlay is of course just a strip placed in the middle. The strip is very rough and dry and I expect it to come apart at some point. In fact it already has a chip out of it. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Straightforward Cribbage board with pretty inlaid design and metal pegs. Pegging arrangement makes it easy to differentiate your peg from opponents, since they are same color. Like it a lot!

This board is just one star away from perfect. The workmanship is excellent, the wood is beautiful and it arrived in perfect condition. The metal pegs are even of two colors (gold- and silver-toned) As with most cribbage boards, there is a storage slot underneath with a metal closure for the pegs.It would have been a FIVE star had the board had a way of counting games. Usually, there is a row of holes in the middle or someplace to keep track of how well your opponent is doing. This one doesn't have that.Otherwise, an awesome board.
