AA ....I bought Amazon rechargeables to save money

How many batteries does it need? Strange that nowhere in the product description does it say size or number of batteries. .

It needs three (3) AA batteries. Easy to install. On mine the timer works great.

Does this tree have heavy flocking?

the tree I received had no flocking at all

Can this tree be used outdoors?

On the bottom of the tree there is a switch that turns on the battery powered lights. The batteries don't seem to last a very long time so we frequent turned them off. I personally wouldn't use this tree outdoors, but I wouldn't say that it couldn't be used outside...
