This is the best, thickest, most concentrated hair gel I've encountered!I tried the expensive Nexxus "extra hold" gel along with a few other cheap/mid range ones and they're all kinda watery. This stuff is super thick and goopy which means you can use a lot less, it doesn't fall off your hands while you're putting in on your head, and it makes your hair kind of stick to itself while you're styling it so it doesn't just hang as a limp wet mess like mine did with the other gels.It is also absolutely the least sticky skin-wise of the 5 gels I've tried before! This is the only one that I can run my hands through and sleep on without feeling like I need to go wash it off. Good stuff. And it's cheap too! I hope they never change the formula or stop making it.

This is one of the best men's hair gels I have ever used. Possibly the best ever! Holds well and feels clean and smooth. Well worth the asking price.

Even though the gel feels thick, it does not weigh your hair down or make it crunchy. It gives it a real natural feel. You only need to use a small amount each time. It’s easily become my new favorite gel for my natural curly hair.

Nice for my hair that is styled with a comb-over with a pompadour flavor. However, will not withstand constant movement. I wear a helmet sometimes for work and it is not able to withstand the use of a helmet on it. Nonetheless, this is a great bargain for the price.

I love the smell. Its great to define my curls but isn't strong enough to hold down my edges throughout the day and moving around. This is for me and my daughter's hair. I probably wouldn't purchase again due to the hold but its not a bad jell. I do like containers better than squeeze bottles b/c once you're getting low its a struggle and I have carpool tunnel and it sucks trying to get that last bit out.

Holds well, but smells like hairspray from the 1970s, and smell is persistent until washed out. If you like the smell of hairspray, could be for you. But the smell didn’t work for me.

I have somewhat thin, fine textured hair that is a monster to get any body going to style with a permanent. This is the cleanest, strongest gel I have ever used. I have sensitive scalp and the product does not irritate a bit. My styles hold beautifully without that awful sticky feeling you get with paste.

Very light and strong. I have heavy frizzy curls that eat gel and was banished to tons of hair gel to last a few hours. This lasts all day and still looks okay in the morning. I just mix a little Scotch Porter hair balm at first to tame the frizz and get things curling in the right direction and lock it in with this. Haven't found anything better.
